Excellent little gems salad; very good chickpea salad (side dish) but over-dressed. Water not good- wouldn't it be easy to filter and improve this? I hate to waste plastic and order bottled water. Overall, very good food and experience.

Marisol restaurant at CAM is amazing! The food was creative and delicious.
But ….the service was extraordinary! Everyone was friendly and informative. And, everyone worked as a team! Kyle, the manager, is responsible for that. He spoke to customers at every table and served customers too ! Kyle is a rock star and Marisol was lovely.

Manager Kyle and Server Emily were amazing—and the food and ambience were top notch! We enjoyed the beignets, Turkish poached eggs, and carafe of mimosas—celebrating the fab museum exhibit by Nick Cave. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

I had the Marisol Salad with chicken on the side. The chicken was completely dry and they charged me $7 for the chicken. The lettuce was soggy and was starting to rot. It was very overpriced for what you got.

A super cute and tasty brunch place. We ordered the breakfast burrito (good but small), cilbir (very delicious), Lomo scramble (also really good), and the French toast (which was practically cake and I was okay with it). The beignets were also super tasty and sweet. Highly recommend.

Excellent spot for lunch or brunch. The food is very good, thoughtfully composed, and interesting. The service is wonderful with kind and earnest staff. One note, the electronic soundtrack is a bit strange and too loud. It's non-musical sampling riffs and driving beats verged on annoying. We had to actively tune it out.

Recently spent a day at the MCA as it is free for Illinois residents on Tuesdays. Made sure to have lunch at the newly reopened Marisol. It is located at the basement level with a sleek and modern design. There is a cafe along side of it as well. I would love to go back to try a latte as I am a lover of crafty baristas. Nonetheless, the experience at Marisol was spectacular. Andres, my server was a delight and very helpful with his suggestions. The Asparagus Panzanella and Salmon Tartine showcased fresh and vibrant ingredients. Everything was quite unique and the flavors were exquisitely balanced. The bread was of great quality and the chickpea side dish was sweet in all the right places. My friend and I shared two dishes and we were pleasantly full. I would love to go back for dinner. Wine list has great options; it features more of an Old World approach. The sparkling Gruner Veltliner was just delicious and went with lunch quite nicely. Soo glad Marisol is back!

Detour away from the art long enough to order a latte and salad from this perfect museum bistro. Ideal for resting your feet and people watching, the menu is fresh and the espresso is good. Just what you need after a full day at the art museum!

We had a good pastry that was well presented and just the right amount of sweetness. My dish came with poached eggs but they were very much overdone. They more closely resembled a hard boiled egg instead of a nice runny poach. Nice service and a good well blended coffee. But the egg snafu was too hard to overlook.

First off I’d like to say that Eddy gave us the best service of all time, give that man a day to play whatever records he wants to bring in.
Exceptional and delicious. I got the breakfast burrito with the in house cured bacon, no cheese. Eddy was on top of my lactose sensitive, no cheese in my burrito and oat milk in my coffee. The service was detailed and on point!
My boyfriend had the French toast, phenomenal. We indulged in the two varieties of doughnuts of the day, well worth it.
We got there shortly after 10am on Saturday, we were the only ones there for a while, great start to our day at the museum.

Awesome option for a Sunday brunch! The menu has very interesting options - the pork cheek ragout was delicious (I would definitely come back for more every other week)! Make sure you take advantage of their location and visit the museum after your meal.
