One of the weirdest ordering experiences I have ever encountered. We ordered a Turkish Coffee, which mentions it takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare which is fine, that's what we're signing up for. But after about 30 minutes, with only one other patron in the store there were no employees to be seen. My friend went on a search for them, and when finally coming out from the back, she (my friend) asked if the coffee was being made - it wasn't. But at that point we were now in a time crunch and she asked if it was going to be made how long it would take, the employee said when it was done he would let her know. She asked again that we wouldn't be able to wait if it were to take 20 minutes and if that would be the case if he started making the coffee now. Instead of answering he opened the casher drawer to give her money. Needless to say this was a bad enough experience to warrant a review - went down the street and was able to get coffee within 2 minutes.

I ordered the pistachio rose latte and this is how it looked… Very cute and very good. I love this cafe! My husband and I stopped in on a whim and really enjoyed our time here. Great service and nice atmosphere. This will be on my list of places I must visit whenever I come back into town. Too bad that we don’t have cafes this nice back at home.

Whenever I need coffee getting off the blue line Western stop I go to Oromo café and I’m never disappointed. They have gluten-free snacks which are always of benefit to me in the mornings. All their ice coffees are lovely. Their other locations are also great as well. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a coffee while in Bucktown.

beware of the pistachio and rose latte, it’s bitter and i’ve never had a coffee that had pulp in it (apparently it’s because they blend a rose and mix it in the coffee). also the golden mylk latte just tastes like turmeric. honestly, the coffee is just awful here. although they make their milk in house, it doesn’t make up for the fact that their coffee is distasteful. there are definitely other better coffee places in chicago that are worth checking out.

This is my favorite café at the Western Blue Line stop. Great coffee plus very creative and tasty lattes. Try the Turkish coffee too. The presentation is awesome. They also bake, have pastries, and serve light fare this is great before you hop on the L to O'hare.

Loved this place! I ordered a cold brew and my friend ordered the Golden Mylk Latte and a cucumber bagel sandwich (not pictured) and they were all delicious. Then I went up and ordered a single shot of their house crafted turkish+rose espresso and it was SO good. Definitely coming back :)

Huge fan after my first visit! I had the hazelnut horchata latte and it was truly heavenly. The staff was really friendly and gave me some great recommendations when I asked. They're willing to answer any questions you have and were happy to accommodate customers preferences. All lattes can be made decaf. A great place to meet up with a friend or get some work done.

Prices are a bit more expensive but not abnormal for the area and very much so worth it for the quality. I've seen numerous reviews complaining about the wait however they have a note on the menu that you should allow 10 minutes for your order to be completed as they hand-craft each one. If you want generic, quick, burnt coffee go across the street to Starbucks, haha!

Parking: Free street parking is ample around the location
Outlets: Almost every table has access to a plug, huge plus!
Music: Chill vibes playing, if you don't like louder music this might not be the place for you to work but I enjoyed the bops.

Such a cute and cozy place! Right off the Blue line and super walkable. The staff is kind and helpful and they make great drinks and food. Plus they have lots of vegan options! A must for anyone who wants a coffee or breakfast/lunch!

This place, it’s staff, the FOOD and drinks….and the MUSIC is so out of this world!! It’s like being at a spa with a personal masseuse, vegan food, great drinks and a professional staff that explains and details everything about your experience. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! My wife and I definitely approve.

Gorgeous cafe with delicious drinks. The cold brew coffee was amazing - perfect flavor. We also had the pistachio matcha frozen drink, which was so refreshing on a hot day. ❤️

Great breakfast options. Was not a huge fan of the pistachio rose latte however but would give their other lattes another try next time.

Cute coffee shop with unique flavors! I love trying out new things and had their rose pistachio latte. At first I thought the rose might be overpowering but once I added a little sugar and stirred in the topping, it was a nice balance. I also had a bagel with their pistachio mint cream cheese. Delish!

I love this coffee shop. I’m always happy with anything I order. Quality ingredients. Homemade goods. Great service. My favorite drink is the Maple Maca Pecan Latte! For their weekend breakfast, I tried the pesto avocado egg bagel which was amazing. Such great flavor!

They're very conveniently located -- right under the tracks at the Western (Bucktown) El. Everything I've seen go into this space has tanked, but from the moment I walked in it hits me that these guys have staying power. This cafe is unique. Turkish in origin, they specialize in nutmilks, vegan sweets (tasty!), and about a dozen interesting lattes. Ambiance is very warm and comfortable but at the same time it's a place I could sit and work in for hours. Baristas are sharp, energetic, skilled -- talk to them about their lattes! One of the best places I've found in Bucktown/Logan Square to re-energize.
