I loved the crispy steak tacos. If it's not crispy the taco bread falls apart but I still love them, no cheeses please.

I had been going to Peeple’s tacos decades ago. It was the food of choice coming from the bars. The food was good back then
and I’m sure still is. I have moved out of state but when I come back to my roots, peeples taco here I come. It’s always been a long wait but well worth it.

I have not been here in here and I totally see why I stopped going. There is no sense in ordering ahead of time when you still have to wait 45 mins.
I placed my order at 7 pm and was told it would take 25 mins. I gave them an extra 5 mins, I made it there paid and still had to wait. After waiting patiently for so long. I kindly checked on the order and was told it would be an additional 7 mins. I requested a free pop since my order was not ready and that was denied. How rude ;( I should have requested my money ($30) back after I saw other people doing the same due to their long wait time.
I get home and the entire order was jacked up! The shells were hard! They put cheese on items that were not requested and it looked as though my 6 year old grandson could’ve went in the kitchen and played with the food.
Don’t waste your time or money with the “Black Owned” establishment because they do not value their customers and their quality of food preparation is careless and lazy!
The one star is fake bc I was forced to do it. ????

Burgers are the best that I've had on the west side! They are so juicy and flavorful and for an amazing price. I bought a deluxe.o came here for the first time today not knowing what to expect, they really did a good job, beyond my expectations. Most places in the area don't use fresh meats, but their burgers is actually real meat. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you.
It's a cash only join so make sure you bring money. Otherwise there is an ATM inside, the wait time was a little long but it was definitely worth it in the end.

This restaurant has been around for close to 50yrs. I remember when they was on Pulaski road. The tacos are still good and the place still have a crowd of faithful customers.

Just about everytime I hit the westside of Chicago, I'm going to Stop at People's Tacos for me 6 Deluxe Steak Tacos Hot with No onions. I've been eating from there for over 30 years from way back when they was off Pulaski

???? Give the cook a raise! Recently visited and came back the next day because the tacos were so good! Great establishment. Great cook . Great prices. Cashiers are awesome too

Absolutely, one if the best taco restaurants around. Extremely unique flavor. You must try the beef taco, hot with cheese.
The hot, is VERY HOT. come with Jalapeno peppers, and hot red pepper paste. Very unique.

Unique tasting taco's. Don't get the hot taco sauce unless you can take serious heat. Best to get hot sauce on the side. Started eating people tacos on Pulaski and Washington and Pulaski and Van Buren.

Worst experience ever. My husband got sick literally throwing up. We ordered 9 tacos from peeple, so by the time we got home and ate the tacos he then found some weird looking animal piece of some sort with a long pointy end and it cut the back of his mouth this is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting I cannot believe this it’s completely against all safety precautions and just isn’t right. Never ever eating from this place again.!!!! Complete 0
