My man and I had such a lovely experience here, I HAD to write a review! We decided to do a last minute dinner and happened to come across S&T. From the moment we walked in we were treated warmly. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter to the owner herself greeted us and asked if we needed anything. This place has a casual vibe but with the food quality of a top tier steakhouse! I was so impressed with the tostada and every sauce was incredible. My filet was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed a slice of the best carrot cake. Highly recommend for date night! Thank you S&T!

Went here for my anniversary and didn’t expect for this place to be so small , not just that but one server running by all over the place . I’m glad I went straight to entree but disappointed in the lack of flavor for the quality of meat and lobster. Great quantity however the seasoning for the lobster was bland , needed lemon and salt or even butter. The steak needed more seasoning . The sauces taste bland. Even the veggies side taste better . Disappointed .

Very small adorable steakhouse restaurant. This is a family operated place who deserves more recognition. We went for anniversary dinner with our son ( kids menu was a plus on a school night). It was our first time dining at S&T. We were greated immediately and welcomed as if we had been long term customers or arriving at one of our family members household. To start we had their delicious wings. My husband had the New York strip with a baked potato and beef tostada. I had the filet mignon with vegetables with a chicken tostada. 100% recommended. I'll be returning to try one of their pastas.

I was looking for a new place to try within my neighborhood and I am so happy that I found S & T. The service was warm and attentive. I had the ribeye and it was not only a wonderful steak (just as good or better than the steaks I have had a well known Chicago steakhouses) it also was a phenomenal value considering that the meal comes with bread, a tostada, and a salad. I also love that it is BYOB and was able to bring my own wine. I went by myself this time and it was a wonderful environment to enjoy the evening and it made me excited to bring the others in the future. I think it will be the perfect spot to bring my boyfriend for a date night or to bring friends and family when they come to visit.

Upon arriving to the restaurant, me and my wife were a little bit skeptical about the place being small and dinning there. After having my first taste of the food, let me tell you, it was one of the best steak/meal in years. This would be one of our favorite spots to come from now on.

Came here for dinner and the food was great along with the service. My steak was cooked just the way I like it and you get a free tostada with your order. This place is also BYOB in case you want to bring your own drinks to go along with your food.

Yari was an angel and the food was immaculate. Seriously such a hidden gem. One of the best meals I’ve had in Chicago in my 4 years of living here.

S&T was the perfect Friday night date spot!! A cozy atmosphere, and so polished and clean. I had the salmon which was to die for, but the tostada and salsas were the star of the show. Everything we had was cooked to perfection, the steak was also great. I also love that there are additional menu items at a lower price point if you’re looking for more casual dining, and we can’t wait to come back with a bottle of wine and try these items as well. And can’t wait to see the windows open in the summer!!!

Great Bucktown spot for steak and seafood. The space is cozy, upscale and pristine. The limited menu results in pure perfection for each and every plate. The complimentary tostada and sauces are sublime. Service is friendly and fast!

A new cozy neighborhood steak restaurant that delivers on personal service and taste! The ambiance is simple, very clean, and relaxing with the music playing and warm breeze coming thru the open accordion windows. For a small party of three, we ordered the ribeye with the additional lobster tail and bbq wings. With all the sides that the entree comes with, the order was more than enough for us all. The signature 'Yari's Sweet and Tangy Tostada' was distinct and refreshing. The bbq wings and lobster tail were nicely grilled. The garlic butter sauce that accompanied the lobster tail had just enough spice too! The desserts are reasonable and very tasty. If you're a carrot cake person, it's definitely moist. It's a must try!
We'll definitely be back because of the combination of the great food, service, ambiance and BYOB! Where can you find a steak restaurant combined with BYOB? Our waitress Yuli was delightful. If you're considering coming to S&Teak, try it out and you won't be disappointed. An added plus for COVID is the fully open air window!
P.S. The owner Yari is warm and genuinely charming!
