Between waitress and chef they made my daughter amazing mashed potatoes that are not on the menu. The service and food was outstanding.

We had a good experience. It wasn’t the best steak we had on our trip to Chicago but it was good and the server was awesome. I had a New York strip which was good and my wife loved the filet mignon.

Shula has the best burger in Chicago and good prices for filet mignon as well

I was curious to try Shula’s Steakhouse as I had always heard good things. It’s safe to say that much like the legendary coach’s final few years coaching, this place is coasting on name alone. First off this place unlike most steakhouses does not offer any bread. Then I was never asked if I wanted another beer. I also have never heard of a steakhouse that has three cuts of steak and 4 steak options. No steak topping offerings. No bernaise, hollandaise, or mushroom toppings. They had one sauce that tasted like it was made from boiled sweatsocks.
Now on to the main event. I ordered the ten oz filet medium rare. The steak was not juicy and was rather dry. There was no flavor or seasoning on the steak at all. The prices are ridiculous. I highly recommend going to a different steakhouse. The prices here would be too high if the steak was $30 let alone $75.

Gave them more that one because of the bar staff, no mashed potatoes, no bread. I could get better cuts of steak at Costco... Won't be going vack

This was my first time in Chicago and my first time at Shula's! It was great food with a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the Chicken! It was ????

Bar had stacks of dirty empty drink glasses when I walked in. Dishwasher rack for glasses on top of bar. Reminded me of the movie Roadhouse. What has happened to the once sofisticated Shula's Steakhouse at Sheraton hotel?

We came to this spot for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

Great dinner with exceptional service from Matt and James. Really exquisite filet. It’s been so long since I’ve been in a steakhouse that I splurged a bit. Loved my dinner.

Shula's was a nice place with good food. I was worried at first that all of the seats were small and had arms attached, but the staff adjusted the seating once they saw everyone who was there. That is greatly appreciated. Our waitress was attentive and she had very good recommendations. This restaurant is inside of the Sheraton Grand hotel but is no "hotel restaurant" Very good for a business dinner.

When you are traveling, and have a really tight schedule, you don’t always have time to look for a new, exciting places to eat. Even if you have the time to look up a few places, you might not have the time to actually go to one. In this case, what you wish for is a great restaurant inside the hotel you are staying at. This is exactly what happened with me when I traveled to Chicago. I stayed at Sheraton Grand, and thankfully, they had a real restaurant in it.
The inside was a nice size, much bigger than I expected. The restaurant is on the ground floor, and right by the hotel entrance, therefore, they have a street view. The interior is classic, with wood floor, dark furniture, and tables covered with white tablecloths. Lots of photos in sepia, creating kind of historic atmosphere.
We were taken to our table with a football! Their signature steak menu was on the football, how cool is that? They do have more steak offerings on the actual menu, on paper.
Since I was not super hungry (regrettably), I didn’t order their steak. Instead, I ordered Pan-Seared Sea Scallops. The scallops were really nice and plump, soft and tasty. The roasted corn was sweet and flavorful, asparagus was crunchy and fresh, and bacon added that extra punch of deliciousness. Didn’t get much truffle flavor, but it was still a good dish, I enjoyed it.
My companion ordered one of their steaks and seems like he really liked the steak, as he devoured it all. The staff was really nice, friendly and polite. He made sure we were well taken care of. We didn’t have to ask for anything. It was a very pleasant, relaxing dinner, I wish if I was more hungry so I could have tried their steak…maybe next time.
