First time at Smoke Daddy and we enjoyed it. The pulled pork Carolina style was huge! I’m generally not a fan of vinegar based coleslaw but this paired perfectly with the pork. The beans. THE BEANS!!! They stole the show! Smoked beans with pulled pork and brisket with an incredibly delicious sauce! Outstanding! Good service and reasonably priced for the portions.

Everything was excellent. Sat outside one a nice patio and they had live music. Started with hush puppies and the watermelon drink then had ribs with Mac and cheese and cornbread (was a bit dry). Girlfriend had fish sandwhich, which was amazing and I don't really like fish.

Really good bbq menu. Try the big plate and Split it. Its the best to taste as many options as possible. Cornbread made with maple syrup butter really good especially since we are Canadians. The service was quick and efficient.

Some of the worst barbecue I have ever had. The brisket was dry, poor quality meat no flavor whatsoever. The various sauces all failed to improve anything as they just taste like ketchup with too much sugar in them. The baby back ribs were way overcooked and dried out, you try to grab a rib and it falls apart into flakes. The initial flavor of the ribs was ok but there was the most pungent plastic aftertaste which stayed with you. The greens were undercooked, tough, flavorless and covered in oil. No salt nor acidity in sight. The mac and cheese was grainy and had a bad liquid smoke taste to them for some reason. The burnt ends were the only decent thing on the plate. I cannot speak for the pork nor chicken and I cannot speak for their drinks. It’s entirely overpriced for how disrespectfully they cooked everything.

It was the first time eating here last week. I have to say it was the best meal I have ever had! I had the Daddy-O and I have never had smoked brisket before (I know !) it was to die for so much flavor and it actually melted in my mouth. My daughter had the wrightwood salad and said it was amazing. Coleslaw and Mac and cheese were also fabulous. Evelyn was our server and she was the bomb and worked the entire restaurant like a boss. Very attentive and always making sure everything was good for us. I actually went to the back and saw a woman in the kitchen area and even complimented how much we just loved our food. We don’t go down to this area very often but when we do I will make sure to go back!

As good as you expect and more. The food was the main event, smoked meats and delicious appetizers. The sides were generous and very tasty. The bar selection is also on point with a solid beer and cocktail list and the whiskey offerings were very good. Live music on the weekends and unexpected but welcome. Can't wait to attend.

I have frequented this place many times but finally wanted to leave a review. Best burnt ends in all the city and the half order of nachos is a perfect snack with a cold pour!! Gona keep on coming in until they stop serving burnt ends!

Great Chicago BBQ at great prices. This location is much smaller than their Wrigleyville spot, but it still had a comfortable "southern BBQ meets sports bar" vibe. We sat outside and the music venue next door happened to have a live jazz band playing outside, so we were able to get the best of both worlds with that. I'd definitely come back!

Excellent BBQ! One of the few top notch in Chicagoland. We got brisket, burnt ends and baby back ribs all of which were amazing. They bring 4 types of BBQ sauce to the table and it's impossible to choose so we used them all. All the sides are good too so you really can't go wrong here. Saturday night had live music too, blues to bring it all together for a great experience.

Smoke daddy was so delicious! We had the meat plate and 2 sides: brisket, baby back ribs, the burnt ends and the cornbread and beans. The ribs were tender and tasty as well as the brisket. The burnt ends were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Loved the sauces and the cornbread and beans had so much flavor. Fantastic place with great service!

Drinks: the bloody Mary is seriously one of the best I've ever had. It comes with a rib and a little mini beer.
The pull meat nachos (w/ pork) is a 10/10! Absolutely delicious. Also the wings are ????.
I'm 100% returning to this restaurant for more bbq!

Easily the second best bbq in the city. Very simple straight forward menu.
Half and full racks of ribs. St Louis style, baby back ribs, rib tips. I personally liked the St Louis style more than baby back. Both were very good.
I also tried the brisket. Really my favorite thing there.
I got colered greens, baked beans, coslaw, and sweet potato fries.all were good the backed beans definitely took the win.
Got the mezcal margarita with a jalapeno in it. Very tasty and smoky. Not that study which is good. I took the jalapeno out. It added a subtle flavor to it.

Ordered a half rack of baby-back ribs and sides of Mac n cheese and fries for my brother after work through Doordash. It was a gift for my brother since I rarely get to see him. I was a little worried about how they would arrive using carryout. However, they arrived perfect. Everything was packaged separately, which is fantastic. It was also wrapped great. He rates his food very hard, and said it was “unreal.” Which is a huge accomplishment as he is hard to please, lol. He said he will definitely have to try again. Thank you, Smoke Daddy!!

I liked it, the food and service was great. Only thing the seating we had was terrible, I was sitting by the door the servers had to go back and forth through and that was a buzzkill, so next time I will tell them please do not sit me by that door. The place is child friendly and family oriented as well as a selection of spirits, wine, & beer.

Had an amazing experience here for a group of five. Literally everything was perfect. We got the giant meat platter, I forgot what it was called, but you should get that! Our waitress gave us plenty of white bread and napkins and was very attentive!
