Loved my experience with Sugargoat! I had a custom order for my birthday and the team was amazing to work with! They were very detailed and helpful, did a great job on my custom cupcakes for my party! Everyone really enjoyed them and said they were the perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet--would definitely go back!

I just finished brunch at Little Goat, which I have a separate review for (also 5 stars), so I had to stop by Sugar Goat for something sweet. Spiced Pecan Brown Butter cookies, the name description itself tells you you're in for a treat, were everything I hoped for. I previously had the privilege to have the Chocolate Fry Pie from an event Chef Izzard hosted, which is on the menu currently. Imagine the best chocolate milkshake you had and the perfect french fry you dip in said milkshake, but in a slice of pie.

My wife and I used sugargoat for our wedding cake. We went with the Cookie Lover's cake and it was absolutely delicious! The tasting was wonderful and they took great care to make sure we had selected the right cake. They were super helpful with making sure everything was delivered on time to the reception venue and they even ordered our cake topper off Etsy for us! We will most definitely use them for any cakes in the future.

Amazing! I ordered a custom cake for my partner’s graduation from UChicago and it was literally incredible. Exactly what I described/asked for. It was also delicious (blueberry brown butter). Huge hit and the staff was so nice/responsive throughout the process.

Such a cute place! They seem to have lots of options, both standard ones and some unique ones. We tried the brown butter blueberries cupcake and the crunchy brownie. The cupcake was delicious but the brownie fell short. The toppings all felt a little stale and meh (great brownie without the toppings!).

Faith was absolutely amazing. She made our dreams come true with a beautiful cinnamon roll wedding cake and the best pb cookies and pecan cookies EVER. We are so grateful for such a yummy wedding cake that everyone was excited to eat !!!

Wanted to get an afternoon coffee in West Loop so we stopped by sugarcoat. Great mocha and dirty chai selection. Gluten-free treats for the conscience eater! One of the top places in Chicago that you have to check out while visiting the city. Will be back soon!

I can't speak for every item at this bakery but if the cheezit cupcake I had is any representation of the whole menu then you bet anything else you get will be amazing as well. Cheezit cupcake? I know, just try it and you will be happy.

Small hidden gem! We got the banana cookie and pancake cupcakes. Both are fantastic! My personal favorite is the banana cookie bc I've never had anything like that anywhere else! Also got a little goat latte made with goat milk and goat cameral, it's good but I'm not a goat milk fan so wouldn't get it again. 10/10 Recommend if you like sweets!

The presentation was great and the cupcakes were made with quality ingredients. We were super excited to try these cupcakes but the flavors were interesting and not always in a good way as some components overpowered others. We really wanted to love them but maybe we should have just tried the traditional flavors. If we're ever in the area again, we may give it another try...
