Super nice calm but casual ambience with great service and busy place. Only thing was (while ordering AYCE) that some friends and I noticed after a few different visits that it seemed the servers would subtly check and wait until we finished majority of our appetizers to then bring the sushi out which is a little suspicious but regardless we had an appetite so it didn’t bother us much but still great experience overall.

Absolutely love Sushi Taku! The cost for 'all you can eat' is fair given the quality of the fish they provide, which is just as good if not better than the quality of fish you would get at other sushi restaurants where you would pay more. They have a great menu and service is fast and friendly.
Be sure to call ahead and get your name on the waitlist because this place always has a wait (Thursday-Saturday it can be up to 2 hours).
Highly recommend if you're looking for good quality sushi for a fair price. Can't wait to visit again after they're done renovating.

I've been coming here for a long time and I'm never disappointed with the team. The execution and flavors are always spot on. You can taste the fresh, quality ingredients they use to make your sushi. It's no surprise this place is always packed. Great flavors, great drinks and a great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. I definitely recommend coming down and visiting the ST team they're the real deal.

The selections for 29.99 AYCE dinner price was good. It's generic like all other AYCE sushi. However their sushi rolls does have little rice which most sushi rolls had a lot. Also their nigiri was really good. Next time there I will only order their nigiri menu which will be worth the 29.99 AYCE price.

Excellent! We had the AYCE, and with it you are able to get rolls, apps, and desserts. It was definitely worth the money!

Me and a group of friends came out here a few weeks ago and had a good time!
Food: We got the all you can eat sushi (as you should here) and were pleased with every roll we got. Each one was very fresh, however, it would take a bit for them to come out. Also keep in mind, you can BYOB, which is a huge plus!
Atmosphere: this place is always pretty busy, so it was a bit loud, nothing you can’t handle though.
Service: This was the most disappointing part of the night. We could not get our waitresses attention to save our life. Don’t get me wrong, it was busy, however, she would always just look at our table and walk away.
Overall, past the service, we had a good time and will definitely give it another shot soon!

Absolutely incredible AYCE sushi!
This is the first sushi spot where EVERY roll was a hit. Not a single one left anything to be desired.
Service was great! Didn’t feel rushed and the server was always ready to let us order more.
Fun atmosphere and great food! What’s not to love?

The service was more than satisfying... The server was super friendly, as always I arrived before my friend and I asked for a couple of minutes more than a couple of times and the server was understanding. I wasn't rushed and she guided me from over ordering which I tend to do. The food took little to no time, my friend has food allergies, but the server and the kitchen accommodated her to the fullest extent!! I will definitely be coming back regularly seems like a sweet joint to bring more people, my family, my friends, and colleagues.

All You Can Eat Sushi Place!!
It's honestly amazing!
Anything you order is delicious-- you can't go wrong
Does tend to get packed but there's plenty of places you can grab a drink at while you wait

We got there a little after they opened on Sunday and was expecting to wait a while, but we got seated right away. Friendly service and the sushi was good. For $30 a person and unlimited food, it was worth it! Parking in this area is very limited, it took us a while to find a spot.

Prepare to wait a very long time. We waited over an hour but worth every minute. We, 4 people, had AUCE sushi and they all fresh and good. They didn’t fuss when we ordered a lot but also offered second round. The waitress was nice and friendly. Order came out fast too. Definitely recommend this place to whoever loves sushi!

Best all you can eat value, taste and quality I've had in Chi. It's insane how good and fresh the fish is for an all you can eat. I recommend the Sunny Roll and the sea bass nigiri. The rice-to-fish ratio is perfect. The appetizers are great too, especially the chicken karaage. Very polite, helpful waiters too. 10/10 would come again.

Came today for the first time (my Bday) Craving Sushi for the longest and Sushi Taku is on top of my list and they never disappoint. Everything is really good and Fresh! For $27.99 AYCE, it’s all worth it and more. The servers are friendly and attentive, the only thing is at this time, you can only stay 75mins to make room for other customers. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

I enjoy Sushi Taku. Their all you can eat sushi is worth the price. Their sushi is always fresh. I usually get their specialty rolls. Shrimp lollipops are so good and so is their takoyaki. You can also never go wrong with mochi for dessert! Their service is good and friendly and they're following CDC Covid-19 guidelines. So all in all, it's a great place for all you can eat sushi with a great atmosphere!
