Decent service. For starters I had half a dozen oysters and most of them were served without oyster liquor. I’ve asked to to add it to another set and it was served perfectly. Happy hour champagne matched the oysters, it was delicious.

I had a glass of long meadow ranch Chardonnay with Surf&Turf(medium-cooked steak and half a lobster). The crust was perfect and steak was juicy. They served it with sauces but I haven’t used those, it’s good enough without any adds.

For desert I’ve got a cheesecake with a cup of cortado. Highly recommended.

Came here to celebrate a birthday and it absolutely delivered on being a fantastic steak house. The sides were nothing to write home about, but they were well cooked and seasoned dishes that helped satiate part of our hunger with the main meal. For the apps, we started with the the rock shrimps and they were absolutely amazing, being light crispy little shrimp bites with a tinge of sweetness to the shrimp. Though the sauce really overwhelmed the sweetness of your normal rock shrimps, it was still fantastic nonetheless. While the Mac n Cheese and veggie"Carbonara" was fine, the double stuffed baked potatoes really took the show for the sides.
For our entrees were shared the bone-in ribeye and the dry-aged wagyu burger. The dry-aged wagyu burger was truly mediocre with the flavor of the burger being strangely (but pleasantly) over influenced by the toasted sesame bun. Despite the great bun, the real show here is the patty. My expectation with the burger being both dry-aged and wagyu beef was to have a very strong umami flavor and have a mouth watering burger. Instead it was more of a well balanced tempered burger which may have been the goal? Regardless, a good burger but expected more from the dry age wagyu patty. The truffle dijonnaise was fine and the goat cheese truffle pairing hardly made a difference to the burger. Going to the steak, you really can't beat the ribeye here through and through, and made us super curious if there truly was a difference between getting the bone-in or dry-aged. We settled with the bone-in ribeye and were still amazed by it, possibly coming back to try the dry age in the future as we were thoroughly pleased. No fancy frills or fanfare, just a fantasticly seasoned steak that speaks true to what an amazing true steak should be. Pair it with a good glass of red wine and you got yourself a standard of what a good steak meal should be.
Quick aside to the cocktail drinks, they make fantastic cocktails as well and I wouldn't mind coming back to just have a drink sometime.
Expectations were to be blown away but were grounded in simply good amazing food. By no means does that mean the place was bad and would still highly recommend for special occasions.

Came with a friend right after work and had a wonderful meal! He ordered the cold seafood platter and loved it, and I had the 8oz filet. We also had the mushroom side and the loaded potato side, which were both delicious. We shared the sides and there was more than enough, plenty of leftovers. Prices are expected for a steakhouse in this area.

Added points for them having a non-alcoholic beer option.

We came here tonight for the first time and ordered the lamb ravioli and crab cake to start. We ordered the Fair winds and summer triple cocktails. We then each ordered steak: the surf and turf wagu and lobster as well as the New York strip. Both were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We also tried the accompanying sauces. The horseradish was too mild for my liking but the other two were great. I also got the anchovie garlic sauce for my NY strip steak which was great. I got the Obsidian Ridge Cab and my partner got the Guigal Syrah to go with the wagu. For dessert, we got the chocolate pavlova which was to die for and the coconut sweet which was heavenly. I would personally come back just for the dessert.

So let me start by saying the atmosphere and service were absolutely perfect. The table was spotless, Ryan was very informative and I was very impressed he remembered my nut allergy when recommending items. I started with the summer salad and a young glass of burgundy Pinot. The summer salad had the perfect ratio of dressing, the vegetables were crisp, and not too thin. While the blackberry vinaigrette was mild, I feel like it was the perfect choice to balance the miso. The bread was also fantastic, fresh, and warm. I ordered a 16oz NY strip cooked medium. While the quality of the meat was absolutely sublime, I do feel it could have benefited from a heavier hand of salt just to help some of that fat in the marble render. Swift & Son's does provide sauce complimentary, and while I did order the anchovy butter with my steak, the bearnaise was amazing and I enjoyed it more. My macaroni was good, I just prefer a bit more sauce, but it was flavorful none the less. The chocolate sandwich cookie was the most memorable dessert I've ever eaten. It was perfectly tender and had so many different notes on top of the dark chocolate I'd happily order and eat 4 of these alone. While the crust on the horchata tart was equally as tender and buttery, the filling could have benefited from a stronger flavor such as smoked cinnamon or brown sugar. However my experience was amazing and I'll certainly be back again next time I visit Chicago.

One of my best dinner experiences in Chicago.
From the bar to the seating area. Benjamin was amazing and courteous. One of the best servers. His recommendations were really great. The area where I sat was perfect for dinner. Not too loud. And at the end of the night it quiets down

Everything was impeccable! Service, food, wine, ambience... it did get loud towards the end of the night as the place filled up but still a great experience. We did the wellington, we'll worth it and the pavlova was scrumptious!

If you're lucky enough to score Scottie for your night out, you're set. Scottie found a way to take an already excellent meal and make it phenomenal.
Let's start with our meal. We each got a half salad which was plenty to start. Each of our steaks were perfectly cooked. The sides were to die for and the wine was amazing. For dessert we sampled from the dessert trolley and tried out the deep dish chocolate chip cookie.
Scottie made sure our meal was smooth, perfectly paced and our glasses were never empty. He answered all our menu questions and more importantly, made the meal so relaxing and enjoyable.
We've dined at many Chicago steakhouses but the food and the service at Swift really does set them apart. The prices are right on par with what you'd expect from a great steakhouse and 100% worth every single penny. We'll be back happily.

Came here with extremely high expectations. Excellent dining experience.

It lost one star because we ordered the beef Wellington. It in general is very good. But the crust was a bit burnt and we can taste bitterness out of it.

Another thing is that the appetizers are just mediocre.

Dessert was good.

Great spot for a classic steakhouse experience. The restaurant was a little loud from all the people in there but the food was spot on and delicious! The servers were really friendly and knowledgeable about all the menu items, but they appeared to be pulled a bit thin so they were more rushed than usual. Hopefully they are able to get more staff as the overall experience was fantastic.

Fantastic meal. Great way to spend a birthday dinner. The tartare appetizer as well as the tagliatelle were delicious. The duck in the pasta perfectly cooked. The dry aged ribeye cooked medium rare was also great. They provide 3 sauces that are nice additions, but to me unnecessary as the steak was delicious on its own. Finally topped off with the chocolate torte. I was slightly nervous it might be too dense a follow up to the meal, but it was surprisingly light and had just the right blend of chocolate, nut, and coffee.
