Kaitlyn S. is the best server I've probably ever had. This place also has amazing food - I recommend the mushroom pizza without the mushrooms.

I’m super super sad to see how often they dangerously over-serve their severely alcoholic customers that come walking in unable to form coherent sentences. Last night a woman was clearly not ok (in a very concerning way) and was served AND sold a bottle of wine to take home.
Extremely shameful she wasn’t even given water.
I think it’s despicable that the bartender(s) care more about their tip profit than human decency. Get some self respect. The weekday customers here are less than savory. Mostly mild to severe alcoholics. If you’re the owner and read this, please reconsider your ethics and dignity.

The drinks we ordered were good and reasonably priced. I ordered the hard kombucha on tap which I really enjoyed. Our server was so friendly and attentive. We sat outside because the music inside was so incredibly loud. The outside seating was nice.

Cute classic bar inside and out. Great summer spot with the ivy outside and the quiet pocket of west town X Humboldt. Pool table @ a buck and touchtunes ready. Green glass tube lighting- can't be beat. The prices are high and the volumes deceptively low. They have a huge co2 issue with all draft beers that causes an estimated 20-25% volume loss of each keg. Beers are very heady, which would be ok if the price was more reflective of the area and volume.
Bottom line: bar food that satisfies a wide range of palates, beers that meet most desires, interactive environment that makes for a fun user experience, large enough to accomodate most groups large or small, exceptional outdoor lighting and atmosphere in the warm season, con-like glassware and amateur pours that push the wallet capacity.

attentive, unobtrusive and friendly service. Great selection of beer and wine, very tasty food. photo and detailed description of the food next time. because I recommend this place to everyone and will come back many more times.

First visit in Chicago. We were grabbing a late dinner and found this cozy place. Our group of 4 grabbed the booth by the fireplace. Service was great. Food was good. Also received a shot of Malört to welcome me to Chicago. I can take shots like a champ but that aftertaste sure did give me a stank face.

I went there on a Sunday evening for a cold beer and seating outside. The beer selection is great and the food is amazing.
I ordered the cider on tap and the hamburger which was cooked to perfection. The waffle fries and the cole slaw were delicious.

Great food (a friend had fish and chips that was amazing, and I had the poutine), great seasonal beer selection, and a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Not to mention the service was top notch!
