There was not a lot of time to take pictures of the food because the whole night we were so comfortable and entertained.
They bring you this delicious warm bread with a sweet butter just to get you started.
Our table had the sea food platter, tuna tartare and the knots for appetizers.. we all had a different steak that was phenomenal!!!
Let’s also say that service was awesome, we had CARLOS as our server and he was extremely friendly and professional! Loved him!
Steak was on point and they actually came as requested.
Also the bartenders were very good because all the drinks were strong enough and great! Will definetely come back, and you should try it out!!!!!

Enjoyed dining at the Firehouse in downtown Chicago at the bar. Both Jose and Jose #2 were personable and took great care in making sure I was well taken care of while there. Felt as if all the staff took great pride in their work ethic and they all had that “family” feel about them. Dale came over and enjoyed her chat about some of the downtown history. Now getting to the food, wow, amazing shrimp appetizer, the apple salad with vinegarette was exquisite and the 1/2 roasted chicken main course was spectacular! To top everything off, I had the chocolate cake! Highly recommend The Firehouse. Also enjoyed watching Cease pitch and win over Verlander on the game being played in the bar. Thanks to all the staff making my evening a great one while on business in Chicago! See you next time… Kris-Bryant!!!

The food was delicious and cooked perfect.
Only downside, the waiter was really in a rush. We didn't finish the main course and got asked for dessert. When we were eating dessert we got the check already. Then we still had some wine in our bottle and we got asked three time if we went to sit at the bar.
No go for a place to rush customer when they are about to finish.

Really good steaks but the price is a little bit too high. Service is good but as always in US they give you the feeling of wanting to get you out.

Great food, solid service, beautiful atmosphere inside and on the patio. We started with the Ahi tuna appetizer and then continued with the black bass special and Dover sole. Everything was cooked perfectly, better than any seafood restaurant such as Shaw’s Joe’s or even RPM seafood in river north.

We had a wonderful time at the Firehouse. We were celebrating our anniversary. It was very nice of the Chicago Firehouse to decorate our table and gave us each a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. We intended to order the chicken. but they were out. It turned out out to be a blessing in disguise. We both ordered the meatloaf. It was devine! The CFH Meatloaf is made with prime beef and you can tell. No need for a knife at all! We will definitely go back to the Chicago Firehouse!
PS, the drinks were great!

Amazing place, our waiter was awesome, very historic place to eat. We ate in the air floor but there's the roof and if you have a large party or even a wedding rehearsal dinner there's a place for that too

Went to enjoy a pre-concert dinner on a Friday. We were seated right away our server was personable and funny and made our dinner more enjoyable. The burger was done just right. Fries were also perfect. A great upscale neighborhood restaurant.

The Chicago Firehouse has to be the best restaurant in the South Loop neighborhood. I’m both embarrassed and annoyed that I’ve lived next to this restaurant for almost three years and I just visited for the first time last night.
The food here is absolutely spectacular. I am on a steak tour of Chicago - visiting the cities most notable steakhouses and to know that this gem is hiding in the South Loop is super exciting! None of the dishes we had were bad. Everything was really really good.
The vibe (on the veranda) during #SummertimeChi could only be beat by dining on the Chicago river. I love how secluded this area was, and off (above) the sidewalk so you’re not disturbed by folks walking by.
The wine list is amazing. The cocktails are pretty inventive. I LOVE the decor. The service was decent.
I will definitely return.

The food and the experience was by far above what we would expect from a fine restaurant. I mentioned that it was my wife's birthday and they met our accommodations to sit by the window. The hostess and all of the servers were great people to talk with. They went out of their way to wish my wife a happy birthday when they really didn't need to. Our waitress was really good and knew the menu well. Since we've never been here before our waitress recommended and bwe chose to go with their CHF executive which was a meal for two that came with several of the items on the menu that they were known for. Every dish was a five-star rating to me and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back

Really great restaurant! The food is very high quality and the atmosphere is exquisite???????? I got the NY steak, Brussel sprouts and lamb lollipops. Each item was cooked so well and was very delicious.

Upscale restaurant in the old firehouse. Focus is on food and classy service at the restaurant, especially with the immaculately suited waiters providing timely assistance. The lobster bisque is indeed a worth signature, and the mushroom and Camembert tart delivers a tasty bite. Steaks are decent - I liked the bit of char on crust. Desserts were classics, I wish they actually flambéed the dessert tableside as described in the menu.
