What a perfect little surprise. Cool atmosphere. We did come before rush hour. Food was perfect. We got the Pork protein bowl and salsa verde that comes with it is a perfect flavor. The chicken, pork and fish tacos were the bomb. The jalapeño crema on the chicken taco was awesome. It probably belongs on everything lol. Not bad for a taco joint in Chicago

Never really leave reviews but my exp was a lot better than the avg review here.
Service was good, food came out fast and tasty! OT needs more food spots especially quick casual. Would return
Recommend Birria and crispy fish tacos

The taco and nacho portions were just right. Two tacos is plenty enough for a meal without feeling stuffed. The atmosphere is inviting and energetic.

4 of us were waking around, trying to find a place for dinner, when we spotted Wild Taco. We were served instantly and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our waiter, Kristina, was very helpful and, of course, the food was AMAZING!
Highly recommend for anyone!

We had the best vegetarian burritos! These burritos had veggies, rice, a tasty sauce, and were toasty. Worth making a special trip. Great atmosphere with cool music, and people-watching. Great service, too.

Their Margaritas here are superb!!! Their Docel tequilla has proprietary specially made for their restaurant. Great place to grab some drinks.
We are still full when we had our drinks here so we didn't order food but we smelled the food that the people from the other table ordered and it smelled delicious. We will definitely come back here to try the food and grab more of that delicious and strong drinks.

Stopped by during the Well Street Art Fair, everywhere is packed outdoors otherwise wouldn’t have noticed this place. Small menu with Tacos and Burritos. Drink menu is Ok, mostly out of cans. The Tacos are not traditional and just Ok for me, prices are standard for the area, nothing really memorable. The tomatoes and watermelon salad was refreshing but it fits into the size of your palm, one bite size.

Went here for the happy hour. The sign is a bit deceiving as it implies there are $3 margs and the “and up” part is in very small print but regardless there were decent prices. The marg was pretty standard. Not very strong but decent. The chips were quite tasty and had a nice seasoning on them. They were served with a creamy guac and were $3. I also ordered the taco meal which consisted of one taco and two sides. I went with the buffalo chicken taco and the sides of esquitas and ranch beans. The taco was very good and had several delicious toppings. The beans were a bit watery but fine and the esquitas were a bit too creamy for my taste but also good. Overall, it was a tasty and a well-priced meal. A pretty good happy hour meal if you are looking for an old town happy hour spot!

We went here because we've passed it in Old Town before and their website made me lol saying to find out what these wild freakin tacos are all about. So glad we did find out because they have tacos I've never heard of like duck, carrot or bone marrow. The entire experience was great! Really friendly staff, unique menu options and instagrammable ambiance. There's a meal with two tacos and two sides that's a super great price too. The ranch beans on the side were delicious and same with the esquitas which were chilled and topped with hot cheetos. The margs here are strong and made dinner even more enjoyable! I will totally be back!
