I pulled in at 6:30 and thought it was closed. No cars in the parking lot. I was surprised they were open. I was greeted by a woman who asked, "just one?" I am a widow, yes, just one. I have eaten here before. I just wanted a good hamburger and fries. Nope. The fries were extra. The hamburger had a variety of spicy choices but not just a hamburger and was very pricy. I asked for water as my drink. It was Luke warm and cloudy. So I went to Maria's instead. Parking lot was full. For the same price as just a hamburger I got this beautiful, tasty meal. And the tables were not sticky like at Eggberts!

It started off just a little slow to get a server. But shortly after the young lady, I don't remember her but she did great. She took our order and they were fast to bring it out. The food was delicious, it was the first time here and we will be back the next time we are in town.

First off to long of a wait to get a table and it wasn't busy, second after seated waitress was polite, food was hot and tasty, then when it was time to check out gave debit card to pay waitress took it brought back ticket but didn't give back debit card, we had to hunt it down not acceptable. As for interior ripped wall paper vents are super dirty. Overall the food was worthy the rest is not acceptable.

Service was good, but food not so much. Omelets were mostly cheese with little other ingredients. Hashbrowns barely browned with majority not warm. Toast soggy. Not worth the price increase on menus. Will rethink visiting again anytime soon.

This place has been around forever. They serve a terrific breakfast. Went here with my mom on mother's day! The place was packed which is always a good sign!

New to Indy and always wondered about Eggberts. We decided to try since my wife wanted just some good old fashioned food. We were seated fairly quickly and the place was decent for a restaurant. Had some high hopes. That was the last of the pleasure. It was 15 minutes before our server even came to get our drink orders. Wife ordered the catfish plate and my son and I both had burgers. I even ordered mine as a double. She eventually got the order after coming back several times to get the complete order. Well we waited and waited and waited. It finally arrived! We figured well maybe they really take the time for each plate. Wrong. She sat the plates down and went back to get ketchup and mustard. During that time my son and I started munching on fries. They were cold and not just been sitting for a while kinda cold. The frozen still in the middle cold. I asked the waitress about it. She asked if I wanted her to go microwave them to warm them up. The burger was so over done that it did not have a drop of moisture and hard. Trying to cut it with a knife and you literally had to saw through it. Bread was stale and at that point I had no expectations for an ounce of pleasure. Son’s burger was identical. The catfish was little 3/4 inch strips and was way over cooked. Canned corn of course to be expected at least they microwaved it for her. Potatoes had been sitting so long that it had that hard crust (you know when it gets so dry it is crunchy). We waited again for the waitress to return for the check. Nothing she didn’t even look our way. I finally got up and went to the counter. 52.37 for a garbage meal. Worst service we have had and on top of that…. The absolute worst food. Of all the places we have tried it is hands down the worst. It may only be the Indy location but we will never return to another Eggberts. Literally a bad taste in my mouth.

our waitress was very attentive. With a party of 9, she never let our coffee or drinks go empty. Great experience!

Breakfast all day, what's not to like about that. This Eggbert's has been here for many years. The menu has changed some but the food is still that 'just off the grill' good.
The prices are reasonable, a family of 4 can easily eat for under $50. Between breakfast and burgers, there'll be something for everyone.
The place is clean with most surfaces being sanitized regularly. Clean restrooms and handicap access inside and out. Free parking in the front of the building.

Great service from our waitress. They messed up our order instead of fruit I got hashbrowns. She fixed the problem with a smile. The food was great. We are from Oklahoma visiting our son. Next time we will come back. Thank You.
