Food was very good. Large portions and visually appealing. Taco salad was not that good. Also no refills on any of our drinks. Other tables around us got refills but not ours. We were a table of six and did not reseive any service except from orders and food delivery. Anything else we had to catch someone going by. I yhink it was just our waiter that was lacking.other than service it was nice.

This is an amazing restaurant the food was delicious if I'm ever back in lndependence Kansas I will certainly have dinner here it is delicious

Hands down the worse fish tacos I have ever had, fish was cold a soggy the slaw was flavorless and it was served with tartar sauce. Tacos de carne asada was just over all not good although the hot sauce served with them was not bad. Even my four year old did not want the kids taco plate. Will not return.

My S/O and I LOVE Maria's! Its not really often that we get the hankering for Mexican food, but when we do, we come here! Very friendly and they give you the right amount of attention.

Looks small… this once was the oldest Burger King. So it is a little small in there. I would highly recommend getting there early. Very clean… We ordered large cheese dips & they were actually large not like other places we have gone a large is the size of a finger dish. Large potion & priced right. I would highly recommend Maia’s if your looking for authentic Mexican food. The sauce they bring to the table isn’t hot at all so you might want to ask for spicy sauce if that is what you are wanting.

Service was very good and it was a wonderful atmosphere. Waiters were very efficient and friendly. The food was great. Only 1 recommendation I have is get rid of paper straws and get plastic or don't use any at all...

I get seated and the booth behind complains they have a hair in their food. They didn't even take any off their bill. I had the enchiladas the lettuce was wilted, a gallon of red sauce and a half a tub of sour cream. I also ordered 3 tamales picture attached...... all I can say is wow. I recommend you stay away from this place. Horrible

watching us daily on what we do in life so I made sure I paid for it in the end! And left the waiter a generous tip for his service! He was nice but a employee needs to be honest about what he serves to his boss’s customers!

Great staff with really good food. Easy in and out from Hwy 160 across from Wal-Mart. They have children's plates along with lunch specials during the weekdays. Service is fairly quick and consistent.

Pretty good service, great atmosphere and good food. Everyone working there seemed very happy to be there, it made for a great experience. I would have posted more food but it smelled wonderful, hence forgot about pictures. We had 8 people in our party, the service was quick and the food was hot!
