Food was incredible as were the cocktails and wine selection. Will definitely be back, Avant Garden Bistro stands in a league of its own when compared with the other vegan offerings in LA.

Delicious vegan tapas!! This place is pricey but oh so amazing. Everything is so fresh, healthy and unique. You can tell so much thought and love was put into each dish. Come for date night and delight in sharing a few items! Also, the patio is super cute and quiet and the staff is so friendly. Will be back soon!

I love this place!!!! I used to go to the restaurant in NYC and I'm so thrilled they opened up in LA as well. The service was top notch and the garden atmosphere is so beautiful. This place is such a gem!!

All around amazing! The food was delicious, the outdoor patio is a beautiful ambiance and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Everything we tried was equally delicious— cremini toast, avocado crispy rice, black garlic pasta and hen of the woods. We noted on our reservation it was our anniversary and they made it really special, somehow seemed like all the staff knew. Shoutout to our server Jason! He was really knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the whole place.

New restaurant with the best food! Creative delicious vegan food and gluten free options. They have a beautiful outside patio tucked in the back that you can’t see from the front. The inside dining area is cozy, elegant, and luxurious with windows opening to Melrose. The manager Drew was so welcoming and friendly. All of the staff was attentive and efficient. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. Absolutely amazing in every way!!

Gorgeous plates, unique cocktails, transformed vegetables into extremely elegant dishes. Got a table on the beautiful garden patio. We got three dishes and a dessert to split between the two of us and that was enough food. Excellent service, Jason was very helpful, explained all the dishes carefully and helped us choose options that would be best suited for us. We will definitely be back soon!

Exception high-quality food worthy of any of LA"s best high-end restaurants - all set in a magical garden atmosphere in the heart of Melrose Blvd. It will make you rethink the term "vegan."
