This place feels like home; the owners are sweet, and the food is delicious.

Best value lunch spot I’ve found in LA. They have like a thousand things on their menu but you actually trust they can correctly make them all. It’s also a plus that you’ll never see more than 5 customers here at once. My only warning is that you might run into an ordained minister of the catholic faith, since the archdiocese is in the same building

Great hidden find cafeteria serving Breakfast and Lunch. Has teriyaki and sushi also. Outside eating area is great with probably 100 different potted plants everywhere. Prices are very reasonable and staff is friendly.

Not a flop. What a weird spot though, felt very much like a college or church food hall. The religious figurines and bibles/crosses everywhere helped with that. The bacon was the perfect crunch level and the French toast was amazing. I would skip on the hash browns/home fries next time.

The lady who runs this restaurant has kept it open for 36 years!! That’s longer than I’ve been alive! That is mad testament to her commitment and zeal. And you can absolutely taste it. Her breakfast fried rice has been perfected over the ages. It has just the right textures, seasoning, ingredients—EVERYTHING. And my goodness, the portion. Far too generous. Do this place a solid and try out their food!! They have so many options on the menu, I gotta come back for the rest. Entrance is on Mariposa, not Wilshire. I’ve included a pic to show where it’s at.

Great little hidden away breakfast and lunch spot! Beautiful garden patio setting, so relaxing. A little confusing to find the entrance the first time, the entrance is on the side street and you have to walk up the stairwell to enter the garden. Totally worth visiting!

Kinda difficult to find (turn off Wilshire at Halal Guys, and look for the external staircase to the upper floor), but features a nice, secluded al fresco dining area. Breakfast and lunch/dinner menu with pretty nice selection. Had breakfast platter. Eggs and toast were good; bacon a bit too crispy for my taste.

Can't express how blowen away we were with our experience eating here. Me and my wife were visiting LA and my wife qas 7 month pregnant at the time. We were looking for a good place to eat brunch, as my wife is vegetarian and pregnant. I wanted to make sure that the food is fresh. Everything in the area was fast food, food this place on google maps, decided to go bc of its reviews. The place is a ut hard to find (take the stairs on the side of the building to the 2nd floor garage and the restaurant is in the middle). Appon arrival, the place looks cozy, we odered a veggie sandwich and the lady who took our order noticed that my wife my pregnant, so she cut everything fresh for us. And the sandwhich was so good we ordered it again. Apparently that lady was the owner (SUJI). Suji is a very sweet lady and so caring of the customers. Her number one goal is fresh food and customer service. What else can u ask for. We will definitely visit her next time we are in LA and highly recommend people to visit her restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast since Bistro on the Boulevard was located right near our hotel. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was good but also kind of heavy after a while. I couldn't even finish the whole thing. For the prices you pay here, you get a pretty big portion.
Tip - it's a bit hidden. You have to go around the corner and up the stairs in order to find. There's also a $5 credit card minimum or else they'll charge you a small fee.
