This is by far and away the best ever steak restaurant I have ever had the joy of dining at. I am an avid meat eater and love making my own steaks with my smoker, don’t be dumb, come here! Ask for Gerard he is the owner and the chef!

Most excellent Restaurant!!! The steaks were just amazing so tender, juicy and tasty. This is the first place that got all of orders with various temperatures done perfectly. The empeñadas, Caesar salad and pasta dishes were also truly outstanding.
The service was amazing as well, every one from the hostess, waiters, bus boys managers were super friendly and professional.
We had quite an enjoyable and memorable dinner.
Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect dining experience. Food is exceptionally well done (or medium rare if you’re getting a beautiful steak). Service absolutely perfect. A small quaint location making it feel like a very intimate dinning experience.

My favorite restaurant in all of Los Angeles and beyond. I have been coming here for 10 years and it never disappoints, it is always as good as the last time and the staff, ambiance are second to none. This is the best steak house and I have been to most of them all. The Meat is of the highest quality I have had and everyone I take here from family to friends to business dinners become instant fans. Enjoy!

This place was amazing! The steak was phenomenal, the specials were perfectly cooked, and we had a lovely time. It’s very expensive, but completely worth it for a special night out. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Did dine-in on the patio in the back. The host was great, one of the servers had a bit of an attitude when we would ask for assistance. Great fries and portions. When explaining that our wine had a lot of cork in it, instead of being apologetic, he become defensive and brought in another server to clarify. A bit off setting. Great steak though. Enjoyed that they had a plate of the desserts to show to the table instead of just listing a bunch off with no visuals.

Bumped into this place by accident, has a really cool vibe. The steak are amazing and the service stellar!!! Especially interesting as it looks makeshift but topnotch at the same time.
Recommendations are awesome, pricy but not snobby!! Enjoyed steak and my friend totally enjoyed their chicken!!

We went here for my wife's birthday. She has been wanting to go here for months. The service is excellent and very attentive. On Sundays the seating is only outside but within a very nice tented wooden structure. The food is Argentinian in nature and we started with Empanadas, beef and chicken. They were the best I've ever had. We tried the Skirt Steak along with Mashed Potatoes and mushrooms. Very tasty and well prepared and nicely presented. Our friend had the Blood Sausage for his Appetizer. I took a bite of it and found it to be falling apart and soft. It was not palatable and quite disgusting. This was my only negative from the Restaurant. Beer and Wine is served but no mixed drinks. The deserts are delicious and there are a few selections to pick from. Carlitos is named after the Singer named Carlos Gardel. The Restaurant is located in a somewhat undesirable area even though it is on Melrose. Still the food we had was excellent and I would recommend it for any occasion.

I swear, Carlitos has the best steaks. Pricy, but it worth it. Never disappoints, love this family who runs the restaurant!

Had a pretty epic Christmas Eve dinner here. How legendary. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Service was impeccable. We sat in their new patio area and it's enclosed and cozy. Make a reservation, get a bottle of wine and order your steak rare. Wowza.
