We tried to eat here... the server couldn't speak english and while I can do a little spanish, it wasn't workable with speed she was speaking. We gave up and went next store. Menu looked good.

I have to be honest. This used to be my sons favorite spot for ribs with all the carbs: Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and fries with a side of cornbread. We were bummed when they shut down during the pandemic. I heard from a friend that the new grill at the location was same owner and making the same dishes more or less. Then they changed their name back to Chicago for Ribs recently. The happy hour deals are reasonable, but the BBQ sauce seems to be going through changes. The inconsistencies have definitely varnished the experience. I'm less thrilled to bring my son back to this old staple upon his return now.

Food is good with reasonable prices. We went around 7:00pm and felt rushed because they closed at 9pm. It was a Saturday evening! Hopefully they can stay open later when business picks up!

A colleague and I had lunch here this week. The place did not have any wait at all, and the fins were truly tasty, and just fell right off the bones. Particularly tasty was the onion rings we had at the beginning, which had a different flavor than I had tasted before, but I would definitely order them again. Easy and free parking is available in a lot right next to the restaurant. Will be coming back.

Only back in name. Food is terrible. 4 people got steaks and they all looked totally different. 1 was two pieces of meat, another was 4 small chunks of meat, 1 very thin piece, and 1 burned. These were all supposed to be steaks! We didn't even complain because we wanted to just check it out to see if it was really back. It's definitely not back. They should be embarrassed to serve what they call 5 Oz. Steaks are separate pieces of meat.

Don’t get me wrong the food is delicious! it’s the best Baby back/ tri-tip/bbq you name it on the west side. We always get the catering and order and pick up. We used to dine in but they have changed the lighting so bad in there that it is so bright. They have destroyed the mood inside. That’s why I gave it four stars. The service & food are five stars and great. The lights need to have dimmers on them and bring that Mood lighting back!
We used to eat there more often and also order out so they have lost that indoor business because of the lighting. Somebody tell the management and owners please. We want them to stay in business.

Not Recommended!
The menu was clean and organized. The staff were helpful.
No bred with butter or any similar starter were served.
We ordered "Rib Combo Special" and "Grilled Fried Shrimp".
Both food were served with very low temperature (almost cold)!! Even the fries were cold. The ribs tasted not freshely made (might beed prepared several hours ago), and didn't tasted as so called "Chicago ribs". Not recommended!!
The amount of salt and sugar in food was more than expected.
The shrimps were small in size and few. The food was cold. Not Recommended!
The waiting time from order to be served was ok.
The restroom:
The restroom was clean but was out of soap!
Here are some pictures I took.

As a native of the southeast who has also lived in Chicago I must say that I approached with caution, however, Chicago for Ribs pleasantly surprised me. The ribs (baby back, St Louis and beef) were super tender, and the homemade sauce was tasty. I was VERY pleased with the baked beans and cornbread, but not so much with the mac and cheese (left much to be desired). The establishment was clean and they have ample parking in adjacent lot Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!
