Our experience was great. We were accommodated when we requested a table in a different area. Rachel was very attentive . Our meals were delicious and dessert was perfect. 10/10 would recommend the Cajun Blackened King Salmon ????. Live music was a great touch.

A steakhouse with a strong seafood game, attentive service, and a new setting just across from LA Live make this a must visit dinner option for DTLA. Sit outside on the small patio, in the bar area with extensive table seating and a live pop/jazz pianist, or in the main dining room. Great upscale atmosphere for dates, business or before the game. It’s by no means quiet, but definitely a setting for a long leisurely good meal.

Let me tell you this place was absolutely magical lastnight! I came for my anniversary and they went above and beyond Jared was our server and he blew it away! I have had thousands of servers in my life and he by far the best ever! Food was impeccable as well we got the Chilean sea bass, lobster cocktail, lobster bisque(my favorite), sword fish, and the bone marrow. Followed by a delicious dessert the presentation, amazing for all courses! Not to mention Jared got the singer Nadia Younes (If you haven't heard of her you need to check her out on all platforms phenomenal!) To sing our song! Followed by bringing my ring upgrade on dry ice! Never in my life have I had a better experience all the way around a moment I truly will remember for the rest of my life thank you Mastros! And thank you Jared! Of you haven't been you definitely need to the ambiance is beautiful✨️ !

The atmosphere is good, cocktails are excellent! The staff is delightful. The food could be good if not for the grotesque use of butter. Our experience was less high end dining and more like a Red Lobster. Clearly someone in the kitchen loves the craft. Please let us taste the food we paid $$$ for and save the gratuitous use of butter for the philistines that request it.

Absolutely enjoyed my evening. The service is like none other . The servers are extremely attentive from pouring your water mixing your cocktail at your table cutting your choice meat for you and serving you . The beautiful selection of fresh seafood to a large selection of steaks and chops and amazing sides ... I absolutely loved the lobster Mac and cheese . You most come in and experience the love ...

The atmosphere was nice, had great servers who took care of us. The apps were okay for the most part imo. It was a little too bland and light. The lobster sushi was really good as well as the a5 Miyazaki wagyu! My favorite is lobster mash potatoes, it was very delicious.

I need to start off by saying:
The atmosphere was amazing! Live music and not just any live music. They were playing top hits, both the pianist and the singer, together!
This is where I decided to have a long lasting memory with my wife. Came to celebrate her most recent achievement and I lucked out with this gem. I believe time will be good to this location and become a hot favorite in the future.
Ordered the tomahawk along with broccoli and mushrooms. Delicious!! American Wagyu is such a treat!
In the picture is the blue tuna tostada and my favorite, clam chowder!
Dessert is a must. Everyone has a favorite!
To the wait staff/Manager:
Thank you for being so kind and attentive. Keep up the hard work and I hope this continues down the same path! ... Excellent service made it that much easier to "tip" my heart out!
To the Chef / Crew:
Thank you for spoiling an old veteran and his wife!
You guys are amazing! Keep it up! Or Dale gas! ????????
We'll be back!
Cheers!
????

As a resident of Downtown, I just wanted something different. I wanted more like the Beverly hills or New Port Beach restaurants. However this is more of a Vegas steakhouse catering towards big groups. Not very good for a couple. Also, the wait staff needs more training while the bus boys and managers were amazing!

Located diagonally across the street from Crypto Arena, in downtown Los Angeles. The steaks are amazing and the wine selection is equally impressive. Definitely a great experience.

Finally my buddy Tillman put a Mastros in downtown LA!! I’m a Houston native, so I’ve been rocking with the LANDRYS family for years! I’m so excited that I can walk across the street to get my Mastros fix! I love the menu and the service is always impeccable. I’ve been 3 times already and it hasn’t even been open 7 days. I’m not stopping until I eat ever item on the menu! We all know how much I love food. Make sure you get any fish blackened, always order the lobster mash, hamachi with crispy onions, oh and the seafood tower are just a few of my favs. Don’t forget to top the night off with the famous butter cake.
