Do you like all-you-can-eat hot pot? I do!!! Spring Shabu has variety of vegetables, fish cakes and noodles. They do have a sauce station for you to mix your own dipping sauce and a huge rice cooker. I do not prefer eating rice at a buffet restaurant ????????. For dessert, they have a vanilla and green tea soft serve machine. ???? I will come back again because there's free parking! ????

We ordered clams in here and they were badly rotten. I used to love this place an brought my parents here for graduation, but I immediately regretted it. When I told the waiter about the issue they only replaced the soup without properly apologizing or anything. Really disappointed.

Best AYCE hotpot in Boston. So many noodle options!! Love their Chinese mala broth option. All of this for a super affordable price. You can always find me going back for seconds at the soft serve machine. (;

Amazing for vegetarians as it has tons of options. The experience was reasonably priced at $19 per person. Loved the soft serve as well. Only thing would be that the broths were a bit on the bland side but this can be fixed with items from the sauce area.

[+] Location is good, with plenty of parking. Restaurant is large and there are tables of all sizes. Atmosphere is not so noisy that you can’t have a conversation. We went on a busy Sunday evening, we’re told the wait was 60-90 minutes, but got a call eight minutes later. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.
[+] Shabu-shabu is pretty decent, with all-you-can-eat plans for around $21 and kids pricing based on age. Cost of sliced meat, around $5, is separate.
[+] Flavor is what you make it, and there is a variety of sauces—everything from goma to spicier non-Japanese types—and plenty of vegetables/noodles to balance out the soup.

[–] While the selection of ingredients is satisfying, more than anything I didn’t like how thick the vegetables were cut. Daikon or carrots cut into 1cm half moons is about 4x the volume of what I’m used to. Other nitpicks include the fact that a lot of the ingredients at the bar were frozen or very cold, and because of that it made it difficult to control the temperature of the pot. Also, there was no akusukui (mesh ladle) for clearing the broth.

I recently tried all you can eat hotpot for the first time, and overall thought it was a really good cost deal for great quality food - my favorite kind of place.

They have a huge selection of veggies (I stacked up on 4 types of mushrooms) and a crazy selection of udon, ramen, AND freshly made noodles! I really liked that you were able to throw 5 different kinds of noodles in your pot and eat them all at once. They had ~8 types of fish balls (favorites: imitation crab meat and roe filling) so of course I tried all of them. Meat doesn’t come with the all you can eat deal, but I’d still recommend getting a couple plates. My bf and I really liked the beef belly and lamb. And you definitely can’t forget about the unlimited soft serve for dessert. The matcha soft serve was very creamy and not too sweet. I know there’s other hotpot places in Boston but, honestly, this place was good enough that I might just be coming back to this one from now on.

Clean, lots of choices for vegetables, noodles, and fish cakes. Large selection of dipping sauces. They don't take reservations. Was very busy, so go right when it opens. If you don't, they do have a nice system that will text you when your table is ready. All you can eat is reasonably priced at $19/person. This doesn't include meats like the thin sliced beef but get one as a side, it's worth it! It's nice that every person gets their own pot of hot pot.

Great AYCE hotpot. You can order meat on the side but the veggies, tofu, and fish balls are buffet style. When we went it was around $25 dollars per person which is really reasonable for unlimited food. Also matcha ice cream was amazing.

The best bang for your buck if you want to eat out and are craving AYCE hot pot!

$19/person for the dinner price. I come here to eat with friends at least twice a month. It's that good.

Spring Shabu offers a wide variety of vegetables and starches that you can choose from without growing tired of the food. You won't feel super unhealthy eating here because all the vegetables are fresh and you cook everything yourself based on preference.

The dining atmosphere is also perfect for going in groups since they play relaxing music and you get your own pot to cook with.

Excellent all you can eat hotpot restaurant. Veryy clean environment and hotpot tasted exactly as expected. Since they serve Japanese style hotpot, most of the soup base are on the bland side but you can make your own sauce at the sauce bar. All the ingredients are fresh too. They will charge you extra if you order meat or seafood but price is reasonable.
