Very nice latino restaurant to celebrate parties. We had planned for farewell to our neighbor and turned out to be well.
Pros:
1. Variety of drinks, wines, spirits.
2. Place to dance on the floor.
3. Staffs cheer up for birthday babies with flash lights.
4. Bring your own cakes to celebrate.
5. Food arrives to the table pretty quick.
Cons:
1. Slightly expensive. Not a big deal
2. Need advanced reservation and still expect wait time. Worth the wait.
3. Loud Music. Noisy environment. If you’re looking for noiseless ambient place, then this is not it.

It's been a long time since we ate something so good and of such quality. If it is true that the site is a bit small and on weekends it will surely be very crowded. But the food is excellent, each dish you try makes you want to try another one that brings out other diners. A highly recommended site

Great ambience. Great food and drinks. If no reservation, only get an hour. With reservation, you get an hour and a half. Even with that provision, I would still go again with a reservation!

Always amazing!! Would absolutely recommend. Food taste extremely fresh every time. Parking is terrible but there are decks located close by. Apologize for the poor photo

Tasty!!!
Everything was delicious. The asparagus were amazing. Korean cut rib was full of flavor. The place can be somewhat crowded but it is a great environment overall with good choice of music playing in the background.

It started great, very nice and clean. The food was better than good. Almost great. The rice needed some work. Over all, the food was good. The drinks were nice. Desert, awesome. Expresso on point. Our waiter was a good guy, but disappeared for a bit. Seemed to be a bit busy with multiple tables I guess. But he made up for it in kindness and great service when we did see him. The bad part was that we didn't know a place this nice was kareokee. No offense to kareokee, but the kareokee guy had bad mics, and technical issues, and then he had the music up so high we could not have a conversation without screaming. It turned out a bit weird for us. We had a break and regular music for a minute, but then back to the weirdness. We left as fast as we could after the Latin Corner turned into Hotel California. But the food though...very good. Try and skip Karenyokee, unless that's your thing.

We enjoyed Esquina! We dined on a Sunday evening after a performance at the State Theatre. We had made reservations but they were not needed. About half the tables were occupied with a steady flow of diners.
We had decided before hand to stay strictly with appetizers and we were not disappointed! First we had chicken and beef empanadas (I think the chicken was more flavorful) with an amazingly spicy sauce along and the croquetas which were OK but nothing to write home about. Next we had the Tostones Rellenos with shrimp. We thought the plantains were over done and the shrimp nearly indistinguishable but none the less was enjoyable. Next we had the Cuban chicken bites which were the deal of the day. We loved the coating (spicy BBQ sauce) and the crunchy texture. Overall the empanadas were the best.
Drinks are available and reasonable. I had the Fuego but was underwhelmed with the heat and the liquor content. I had 2 and didn't even get a buzz. Oh well.
Service was great. The ambiance was very "clubby" with a steady diet of Latin inspired heavy bass dance tracks. The bathrooms are clean, warm and well appointed.
Perhaps we will try the entrees next time but I would go again for the appetizers.

One of my girlfriends and I decided to meet up and get dinner and drinks. When I arrived I found parking right in the small parking lot of the restaurant. I walked in and asked the hostess if I could sit at the bar and I did. The restaurant was super cute and I really liked the art behind the bar. Our bartenders were Casey and Emelson and they were awesome. For a starter drink I got one of the red sangrias and it was tasty. My friend got a mojito and she liked it.
On the menu there are a few vegetarian options so I went with the pasta latina and my friend got the salmon. My meal was pretty good and my friend said her salmon was so good. The next drink we got was different margaritas. The first one I attempted was the rum margarita but after one sip I sent it back because I didn't care for the taste. I ended up with the regular margarita which was tasty. My friend liked the honeydew margarita. The bill came to about $37. We had a real good time and will be back.

The place has a nice ambiance and it looks like people go there to start their night and then go clubbing based on the vibe I felt. The drinks were ok, they tasted good but they were not outstanding. The food was well garnished and was seasoned well, but not agressively and some items needed to be thought out better such as the ribs, my husband had a hard time eating the rib, it could have helped if it was more tender. I had the salmon, which was delicious. It comes with sautee spinach, which were also very tasty, but it also had sweet potato, which did not belong on that dish to me, it was too sweet, I would have rather just regular mash potatoes. My sister had rabo encendio and it was good, but it could be better as it was season moderately. The shrimp empanadas were so good! Try the churros, so creamy inside! Overall a great experience. I would go back again if in the area! This area is really nice and it seems like it has an active night life.
