I am very disappointed with the service I have received today. My app showed me that my order is ready for pick up. When i arrived my order was not even start making yet I was in rush because there was no parking didn't want to get a ticket. I had to wait 15 min and my order was made wrong. I paid 30 bucks for nothing to eat roll missing ,no sticks to eat with, no napkins. Not friendly. won't go there anymore. I use to order there at least once a week. I will just order from other place.

Very cute spot! We went in during happy hour and got 12 1-dollar oysters as a mid-day pick me up. Really lovely service and classy decor. We saw lots of other fun things on the happy hour menu which we may return to try like veggie gyoza, $4 basic sushi rolls and $9 fancy sushi rolls. Very nice Brooklyn location on fifth ave.

DO NOT DEMAND A TIP WHEN YOUR SERVICE IS BELOW PAR.
Adding to my initial review since the owner assumes I want the tip back.
We spent around $200 at our visit to Bay Ridge Sushi, we didn't come for a cheap meal or an all-you-can-eat buffet. During that time, we were made to feel rushed throughout our stay. One of our soup bowls spilled, and someone in our party cleaned the table. We were not asked if we wanted to replace the spilled soup, which we would be happy to pay for by the way, we don't want it for free. We asked for another one ourselves and paid for it without issue.
Then, after we ordered two more rolls to our original meal, we were asked (as we were sitting and clearly not going anywhere) if we wanted it "to go", not to stay. In my opinion, this made us feel rushed. The restaurant was not full and had empty tables. It was not closing time. After this treatment, we paid the amount in full AT the register and nobody said anything about any missing additional funds on the bill and everything was OK until it was time to leave and we were getting up.
Two ladies / waitresses came over to us and said "You didn't leave tip". This did not seem like an optional request to us. We said that the reason why we didn't leave a tip is because of the bad service. But they just stood there. Nobody mentioned any tipping policy or in-bill tip as is now being mentioned. So, we paid the tip because at this point, it was ridiculous to try and argue and we just wanted to leave.
The reason why your response seems incorrect is because another patron left a similar comment about your establishment saying that a waitress asked about the tip, and the service was rushed. If you made a new tipping policy, let us know beforehand or AS we are paying in full for our meal, not after we paid and are getting ready to leave.
In all cases, no thank you, we do NOT want any refunds to our tip, or for anything at all, and we never asked for one. We are stating our opinion and highlighting our experience and what happened and the way we were asked for the tip as we were leaving did not seem like it was optional.

I had a great time here, although I didn’t see or hear anything about all-you-can-eat sushi which was a bit confusing. Otherwise, food and service was enjoyable, lunch specials were good, and I left very full for a reasonable price. I did not have any issue with too much rice or not enough filling as some people have reported.

The quality of the fish is without doubt better than the other AYCE places around. (you can also just order a la carte). AYCE portions are rice heavy though, especially for the sushi pieces. AYCE menu is also very limited: sushi and basic rolls, none of the special stuff. But for me the quality made up for the relative lack of options.

Been coming here for years, and never disappointed. Some of the freshest, most delicious rolls I’ve ever had. Service is always great, we often even get complimentary dessert!

Ordered eat24 on a rainy Saturday. The food came faster than expected and was great. Got the rock shrimp tempura bento box, and a few rolls (fried soft shell crab & fried oyster).
This is a great spot to go to if you want some quick, good sushi. Highly recommend!
