The food was good, drinks on point, music was very loud but a great playlist played by a live DJ. Bartender could have been more attentive. (We sat at a table and then at the bar so we wouldn't hog up a table). I would come back, me and my girls had a great time.

My friend and I got together and took a trip to this restaurant. When I arrived I found parking right away nearby. We walked in and was greeted. We decided to sit at the bar and Alexa was so awesome to us. She is the manager and the bartender and she treated us so well. They have bottomless mimosas that was so good and they give you mini carafes to drink from directly. For my meal I got the crab stew and my friend got the mofongo with meat. It took a bit for it to come out as I believe they make everything fresh. When it all came out the food looked awesome. I dug in and the stew was good, the only downfall was the little crab shells that was in the stew so I had to be careful. While we ate the dj was blazing and we enjoyed the music. We had such a good time and I would definitely return.

Food was good, the waiter staff is truly lacking. The drinks were amazing. The music is good but way too loud. And they add the tip based on ur bill. So if ur waiter sucked guess what still a $40 tip. First and lay coming here

I went to this spot for the first time this last weekend for a bottomless brunch and I have not one single complaint. The music was great, the ambiance and decor were beautiful, they have a decent outdoor space, and the food is authentic and delicious. But the best and most important thing to mention is the extraordinary service. From the moment my friend and I walked into the establishment, we were greeted warmly and tended to immediately. The service was quick and every single employee who worked with us were so friendly and extremely accommodating. I could definitely see this becoming a regular spot for my friends and me. Thanks for an awesome time y que viva Puerto Rico! ????????

This was our first time here. We went to celebrate our anniversary. First let me start by saying that everything was great. The service, the music, the food even the girls we sat next too. The music was loud but enough that you can have a conversation. We started with the bacalaitos, a must have. The staff was very attentive. Definitely want to go back and try some different stuff.

Iight so boom. I saw this place on IG and it looked amazinggggg. So on this here Sunday when my girl and I were looking for a brunch I said hey, let's give it a go. And let me tell you, best decision I made in a while.

When we arrived they had outdoor seating which was separated by tall plexiglass and accompanied with heating lamps. Win. We put our name down on the waitlist and were told it would be 25 minutes. No prob. In those 25 mins the owner approached us, introduced himself and we had a really nice convo (small talk) about the restaurant and ourselves. As a fan of hospitality & customer service, I really appreciated this gesture. For me, it's the little things.

In a little less than 25 minutes, our table was ready and the festivities began. A DJ was in there spinning Spanish, hip hop & rnb tunes. Love to hear it. Inside, the tables were socially distanced as well. You can tell that they were very intentional about setup which I love.

We sat at about 2:25, brunch is from 12-4, but what I loved is in addition to the brunch entrees (which looked scrumptious) you could also order from the dinner menu and still get bottomless! They offer bottomless sangria, mimosas and rum punch and an entree (from the brunch or dinner menu) is required to purchase bottomless. If you only wanted an appetizer from the dinner menu, you'd have to order a side as well in order to get the bottomless. And they give bread for the table which I literally could've eaten by itself as a meal. I know it's grilled, idk what else they baste it in aside from butter but babyyyyyy omg it was good.

I ordered the skirt steak with rice & beans & my homegirl ordered the coquito French toast with chicharron de pollo. Let me tell you. That food was FIRE! Ughhh. Portion size was fantastic, flavor was on the money. No complaints. All smiles and good eats. We both had the rum punch and it was gooooodddd. By gooooodddd I mean both tasty & strong. My favorite kind.

The refills were on point, music was on point, and the owner even came over to check on us & take a shot. Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience. There was a larger party of family members who were thoroughly enjoying themselves, other tables of friends, some dates & everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Good vibes all around.

I'll most certainly be back. I definitely want to try the French toast and the trifongo & a handful of other items on the menu. Great job Barrio BX and welcome to the neighborhood!

This Bronx Puerto Rican flavored restaurant sure threatens Made in Puerto Rico’s patron base.

The hostess and waitress were attentive and charming. The background music was a tad higher than expected but overall good selection. Would love to hear more salsa y bachata.

The food was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection. The rice was okay and the beans could have used more sabor bóricua.
The presentation as seen in the pictures is beautiful but the rice, beans and meat pots don’t all fit in your oval wooden plates perhaps secure rectangle plates to present the plates beautifully.

The decor was tasteful and the hospitality was on par with a 5 star dining experience.

The dessert was delicious.

The establishment was awarded five stars based on the hospitality, service, decor and food quality.

Highly recommend this charming spot in the Bronx.

Local parking is readily accessible.

Great brunch menu and overall ambiance with a live DJ. I found the music to be a bit loud which made it a bit loud to communicate and within noticed her talking to the manager who automatically took action. Great customer service! First time and definitely will be back!

Been here a few times before but this last time was such a good time. My family and I went for my mom's 69th Birthday. It was also the first time some of us went out to eat since before pandemic!!! The food was amazing!!!! AUTHENTIC COMIDA CRIOLLA!!!!!! The MayoKetchup is slamming!!! The only complaint about it is, they don't give you enoughhhh!! BJ was so helpful and Charismatic the whole time with us. Some drinks were too strong and others not enough but still very tasteful.

The only thing I have to say is, if you are going to be a server at any restaurant, you should know the menu. Especially with paperless menus, I shouldn't have to reload the menu to show you want I want. Especially if its something as simple as 'Aguacate'. That's pretty much a staple item in a Puerto Rican Restaurant.
