This is the worse place & the food was really nasty. IDK how people give this place ANY positive reviews or say that they actually like this so called "food"... it's definitely NOT Puerto Rican food at all!
Do yourself a favor of you want REAL cuchifrito... go to 161st in the Bronx or to 110th street in Spanish Harlem!!!
I regret ever stepping foot in there & I'm being extremely literal!!
(I gave it 1 star in order to be able to post this & save people from spending their hard earned money for under mediocre "grub".)

Walked past here late at night looking for something quick. Food was great and the portion size was generous. Definitely gave me San Juan vibes when I was there recently.

Best place in the local area for typical criolla food and affordable prices. You can find all kinds of Puerto Rican dishes here. They've been here for a very long time, and many people frequent it, so beware around 6PM it can be extremely busy. But as they say the best places have the longest lines.

Been coming here since I was a teen.busy neighborhood spot. Always busy. But service is fast. Good selection of fresh Spanish food. Girls doing orders have always been nice n try to be fast with the lines. Downside is sometimes its crowded and u can't eat in. They sell lottery so alot of people sit down at tables. Right off train and Fordham rd so great location.prices are reasonable.

I had fried pork with cassava. Very satisfying. Also passionfruit juice, after having a free sample of "jamaica" juice. The server seemed to genuinely care that I enjoyed it, which in turn amused me given the high traffic.

After $22 ordered and paid for a nasty roach went walking passed me on the counter. Needless to say it all went in the trash. Even without the roach. I ordered pernil. She gave me scraps off the bone. All fat and hard dried grossness. Dont say I didnt warn you. I took the pic before I threw out the whole thing just to show you how gross.

Haven't been here in years, and they still taste the same! Good service, good food and refreshing drinks. I had the avena and it was delicious. Pernil on point. Chicharones Dominicano was the bomb, You have to try them, it's like butter.chicken chunks are always tasty. Parking still stinks!

This place is amazing!!! It's a soul food paradise. The smells and freshness is amazing. It's not for diet food, it's the greatest fried delights. The service is fast and friendly. The place is small, and the prices are fair. They have barriers up for Covid 19 protection and you can order and wait outside for things to be done.
