Sat down for a snack with my partner while walking around. We were the only ones there. Got the short rib and plantain arrepa, but replaced the beef with pork. It was really delicious. They only had the Verde arrepa, so we tried that. It was a little herby, but overall great. My only two complaints are that there was far too much meat and bean juice sitting in the paper wrapping, it made the bottom soggy. Also, $17 for an arrepa should be a crime. But it was tasty!

Its a fusion but you can find great Venezuelan food. We ordered arepas with mano cheese that was amazing. We also got the tequeños with guava that were super good and churros. They also have Polar and other beers!

Venezuelian food is some of the best there is imo, so it was only fitting to stop by areappas while in nyc. First let me say the decor is wonderful. Nyc is so vast most places have to make the most out-of their space. Areappas is bright and airy. Felt very open and relaxing. It almost didn't feel likeninwas in new york. Very Clean and just overall a very appealing place to sit and eat. Menu was larger than I expected but with areapas you can also make them however you want. I kept it simple and choose the down town, rib meat and cheese. Most of our party choose the pabellon which they all lived and frankly the looks of it made me jealous I didn't order it too. Portions were spot on and the pan was just right. Although very hood, was nit the best areappa I've had ever, but very close second. My highlights however were Two things. First the tequenios. Best ever. I don't know exactly what they do different but these things busted with flavor when you bit into them. We had two plates for our entire party and I think I ate one plate myself. The other highlight was the fresh juice options. I tried the passion fruit and water melon. Super delicious. I could stop here for juice and tequenions every day and not get tired of it. I went back to areapas after work that same day for more tequenios and passion fruit juice in fact. Good friendly service as well. I recommend.

What a lovely place! So pleasantly decorated with the various plants and clean looking furniture — the atmosphere feels so light and welcoming. The food is just as yummy as the decor, it’s true! I got the chicken avocado bowl and it was positively wonderful! My friends experienced bowls, arepas, and a sandwich, and have reported delicious flavors and exquisite presentations! The meal was a tad expensive, not to mention the room fee, and we were seated outside which was a bit chilly, but it was wonderful, nonetheless!

This was such a nice restaurant! My friends and I had to sit outside so we were a bit chilly, but there was an enclosed area with heaters and beautiful plant decor, so it was still a great experience. The food pictured here is my cheese arepa and my friend’s vegetarian sandwich. I took some cheese out of my arepa, which is why it looks like that. Our food was incredible!! I haven’t had arepas in a while and I am so glad I went here. My other friends got bowls which they declared were very yummy. Overall, I would totally recommend although it’s a bit on the expensive side.

I am restaurant lover, I was raised in gastrointestinal family and I’ve been in best restaurants around US. What is special about “Arrepas” is flavor. Food has taste and delicious look. Products have a good quality, comparable to many exclusive restaurants in NY. Many times I was dissapointed in other places, but “Arrepas” is legit. Tuna is my fav at this place.
Chef is awesome. I give props.
Service friendly and helpful. Julio was very professional.
Place is warm and clean. Definitely recommend for those who like eat healthy with taste!

Meh it was ok. Decor wasn’t that inspiring, the tables were all wobbly and the garden chairs too low for the tables and the food was ok.

I feel terrible I forgot the lovely person who was the waiter she was incredible not only did I witnessed her handle so many other tables at the same time she’s still checked on me to see if I needed anything to drink while I was waiting for my friend to arrive????????????

The flavors in the pork areppa were very nice, although it was cold when I got it. The empanadas weren’t really good. The cheese wasn’t melted. And one of the empanadas was flipped over to cover the very well done side, which did have a burnt taste. To be honest, I was disappointed because I would have gone there more regularly had I had a better experience. I did like the decor inside and out.
