Simple and elegant Italian cooking in rustic interiors and relaxed ambiance. Upscale but not pretentious. Seasonal, fresh ingredients are celebrated and not over dressed. Make sure to get their burrata dish and finish the meal with their signature panna cotta with balsamic vinegar sauce.

Standouts from the menu (attended private event from my company):
Ceviche (Wild Spanish branzino, jalapeño, strawberry-citrus juice, cilantro): citrus flavors combined with the fresh, raw fish was very good!
Fave (fava beans, Windfall Farms greens, Espelette, formaggio Mitica Pantaleo)
Pesce (seared filet of Atlantic wild king salmon, avocado, citrus, rhubarb pickles, black garlic): the seared fish was seared to perfection, juicy and fatty.
Because it was a private event, we were seated in the basement in their wine cellar. Great ambiance and cozy seating.

Had a really lovely birthday dinner here. The pasta with duck sausage was easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in recent memory.

If this is not a 5-star place, what is? The food was the best Italian I’ve had - in- and outside Europe. Great, lively atmosphere. So yes, it’s a busy place but definitely worth the visit! Try the vanilla ice cream - it’s the best you’ll find anywhere.

Not at all worth the money. I rated two stars for the atmosphere. Service was fine, but food was incredibly salty.
My pasta hurt my mouth from how salty it was.
Boyfriend said his was fine. Very underwhelming for 30 dollar plates. Olive oil and olives were delicious, but if I wanted to enjoy that I could’ve saved 70 dollars and just ordered appetizers.
It’s NYC there are much better options for Italian food.

Super impressed with il Buco. The food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. We dined around 3PM on a Saturday and it was buzzing but not too loud to have a conversation. The service was friendly and quick. It's a beautiful, rustic looking restaurant with lovely details. Highlights of our meal include:
- For the appies, the octopus was mind blowingly delicious. Also loved the Bikini which was a mini grilled cheese sandwich that melts in your mouth
- The iberico ham shoulder entrée was cooked to perfection
- The torchio pasta was like a mac and cheese and very yummy. A little more chewy than I expected.
- Great cocktails
A lovely spot to dine in NoHo. We'll definitely return.

Lovely Italian spot in the heart of Noho. The atmosphere is so nice and homey with great decor and a comfortable vibe. The food is a little overpriced for what you get, I had the Pollo and it was very hard to cut into and eat. The bread also costs extra which is always a turn off for me. The waitstaff was absolutely wonderful and made the experience very nice and feel familiar. Very nice experience overall.

The experience was amazing. It is a very busy restaurant so make sure to have a reservation. I came with my wife for her birthday. We were very comfortable with a cute table inside. Our food was amazing. The server was awesome. We had a really good time. The atmosphere is perfect!

Was good but could’ve been better. Our appetizer was the fried squash blossoms, and those were the best. However, our pasta was not very flavorful and chewy. It needed more sauce. The pasta didn’t hold the sauce very well so I couldn’t taste all the flavors. The ambiance was nice.
