One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I’ve been with my girlfriend twice, and each time the owner was so hospitable and kind. The food and drinks are amazing, especially the octopus. I will definitely be back very soon!!

This is good restaurant. The lobster bisque and the lobster risotto were really quite great. The linguini with chicken was also delicious but a bit dry. The service was a bit awkward though, like the table was not yet ready when we arrived and the host exactly right after we finished asked, can I get you anything or just the check? Which in my opinion is quite rude.

Amazing! I can’t believe I walked by this place for two years before I walked in. What a delightful experience. The lobster risotto with truffle oil is simply divine. We also had the salmon and my husband was supposed to let me have a bite and he said it was too good to share. It’s not so uncommon to find delicious food in this neighborhood, but meeting a staff as friendly and accommodating as this is rare. Matria is the manager and she’s so down to earth and generous. We were treated like royalty. And this is only our second visit. The bartender made a great Negroni. We simply can’t say enough wonderful things. Please be sure to stop in here and enjoy delicious food served by a dedicated and loving staff.

A great brunch spot that is cozy with friendly service. We ordered a mushroom vegan bowl ($6 for extra 2 eggs) and the short ribs. Everything was tasty. The vegan bowl is rather filling so you won't leave hungry.

I reserved, sat down and ordered drinks. Our party unfortunately had to leave before we could order dinner. The drinks we had were fantastic and I'm sorry we had to leave before eating. The owner and waitress were very understanding and kind. Hopefully one day we'll be able to return and eat a full meal.

Husband and I had a great dinner here, on a Monday night. Not busy, nice classy music great food, great wine, and attentive service. The ambiance was perfect for good conversation. We ordered the mulled wine (delicious), lobster bisque, grilled octopus starter, beef bourguignon, and branzino. All delicious and tasty, my personal fave is the grilled octopus. Will be back to try the other dishes!

I was excited to try their lobster bisque. What I received was clearly a canned lobster bisque which did not have one piece of lobster on it although it has congealed lumps of canned soup in it.
I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and I was given a 1/4 of a medium sized glass for $15.
I was excited to try the scallop dish. My entree was dessert plate size which was mostly mashed potatoes with four small scallops, one which had been over cooked and almost half was black.
I would love to give higher marks but dinner was $136 for two (one bar beverage each) and $163 with a tip since it’s not the servers fault the food fell flat.
Our end table sized dinner table was crammed in the front window with barely space to move.
Def better places to try. Such a shame.

Fantastic spot with indoor and outdoor covered seating options. Delicious food and great atmosphere. Mulled wine was good and I very much enjoyed the shrimp appetizer.

Absolutely phenomenal food and great friendly service! Outdoor accomodations are spacious and the overall vibe and decor is very authentic! Appetizers were all outstanding and good portions, and the main entrees were supreme! Definitely try the mussels a la escargot- which melt in your mouth, and the lobster risotto with roasted corn for texture and lots of lobster meat. The tuna tartare was also so flavorful and well prepared. Definitely check this spot out if you're in the upper east side, or go out of your way to get it anyways!!
