Like the iconic brunch place in NYC and therefore one of the top Brunch places in the world! I lived down the block for years and saw the line wrapped around the corner many beautiful weekend days. I love this place for Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner. Always excellent French Food and Pastry!!! One of my high recommendations downtown!

Lovely corner for lunch/brunch outside, especially on a weekday when it’s less crowded if you can swing it. Food is pretty average, lacking a little flair or flavor in the dishes we tried, but service is great and you couldn’t ask for a better location/surroundings. BYO or purchase drinks there.

Sat outside on a perfect Sunday afternoon to eat delicious eggs.
1. Tunisian eggs - great flavor with perfectly poached eggs.
2. Vegetable hash - healthy no carb option
3 salmon egg Benedict - flavorful, enjoyed the salmon
Service was good and servers were friendly. We got seated pretty quickly. Just a heads up your party needs to be there to be seated

I'm French and can confirm there's nothing remotely French about this place (as I have read in other reviews). The food ranges from average to just plain bad, and is ridiculously overpriced even by NYC standards (we paid over $50 per person for a tiny crab cake and a toast with ham and salad, no drinks). Service is slow and borderline rude. Also I have never seen this many rules at a restaurant which makes you feel more like you're entering a correctional facility: their storefront is literally covered with signs like "$25 minimum order per person", "We don't sit incomplete parties", "No strollers", and a 5-bullet point-poster for "rules for outdoor dining with dogs".
The only reason this place is still in business must be because of their location in West Village which effortlessly brings in a lot of traffic and people ready to overpay for bad food, cause there's no way anyone would ever go there for their "cuisine".

Nice French spot in the West Village. One of my favorite places to eat in the village. It’s like you’re in a little cafè in France. I love their sautéed chicken or the beef mignonette. Their fries always comes out great and it comes also with some salad which is nice. Great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the village looking for a nice spot to eat.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. Small and very busy restaurant. Food is excellent! Perfect egg Novieginee.

One of my favorite meals in New York! The burger was mouth watering. Sandwiches and salads were fantastic! The waiter gave great service. Sitting outside getting a vibe of the neighborhood was really cool. Definitely recommend!

Amazing food! The place is bring your own booze. We saw lots of people bringing their own bottles of wine. The restaurant also had a nice selection of beers and wines as well. The food portions were very big and reasonably priced. It's a wonderful local restaurant with a great vibe! The picture features the spicy chicken, which was delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked.

The food is excellent here. And the place is small with a lot of charm! They don't take reservations but the wait is so worth it... I discovered it last summer and I've been going back a bunch of times since then. My new favorite brunch spot.
