Great food. They’ve reduced the portions and changed the store hours so double check before making a trip to their restaurant. Other than that food is delicious soul food.

Food is amazing. I suggest placing an order over the phone then picking up because the wait is a bit long, about 20 to 30 minutes, but it's also worth the wait. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I am definitely a repeat customer!

I absolutely love this restaurant it is my neighborhood fave and have been going since they opened. I ordered the fried chicken and jerk chicken for my bestie bridal shower and everyone raved about it how good it was. I am sure they will have a few new customers in the future. Truly appreciated all their customer service.

This was my first time coming- my cuz told me the food was good...so I figured let me give it a try. We went to the restaurant and ordered at 6:19 and didnt receive our orders until 7:30....yes...over an hour later. Didn't order anything extravagant....just some fried shrimp, collard greens and potato salad. I asked before ordering how long it would take for the shrimp and was told only 10 mins (cuz I heard there's a wait for it) so I thought that was fine. So where outside of the restaurant talking, (because of covid and all) and we're noticing its getting darker and darker. After like 30 mins, I went in to ask about the order and was told that there's a lil wait...after 45 mins...I went back in....was told there about to bag out orders up...after an hour I was told that they're putting my banana pudding together...which was funny because the only reason I ordered it was because there was a lot pre packaged in the fridge. After like 10 mins after that (its not 7:30) I received my order...thank goodness I checked my bag- i was missing my potato salad. While looking through my bag I'm noticing that the food containers weren't warm...but it was already over an hour, so I just went home. Overall, the food was ok....just would've been better if it was warm...even when I checked my order before leaving the store; seems as though the food was made some time before and was just sitting there...and no it wasn't as if my order was waiting for my cousin's excuse her food was just as cold as mine. So if u like cold food this place is great.

The Customer Service was good.First time there she had me taste before I purchase what I brought. We enjoyed our food that we purchase.
The Turkey Wings, Oxtails, Yams, Collards
Greens, mac-n-cheese, corn bread,
Banana Pudding n Red Velvet. Everything was delicious. No Complaints. We will be back.

Katie, Katie, Katie! My oh my! I regrettably ordered over UberEats because I wished I could meet you in person! The packaging was great and thoughtful; there was even a message written on top! We ordered the fried catfish - I got mac n cheese & candied yams and my boyfriend got candied yams & greens with turkey meat. I am a native New Yorker of 20+ years and hes a man from the South. Let me tell you...he had the biggest smile on his face! The food was absolutely delicious and you can tell they are seasoning with love. Might I add that I am a Chef of 10 years so the blend of flavors I completely appreciate. We are DEFINITELY ordering often. Im sorry theres only a picture of the packaging- we couldn't wait to dig in, lol.

The food is great but its pricey and I love the lady who serves and does the register. I would give a 5 star but I want 2 small sides and 5 wings for 10 dollars so for that reason u get a 4 star review . In this pic they made the jerk wings I made the salad

The fish was tasty the mac and cheese was pretty good too. With that being said my drawbacks. The shrimp was way too salty. I ordered the chicken meal and never received it. That was a shame because that was the part of the meal I was most looking forward to eating. Has good potential and I would reorder again to see if I would like the chicken or not.

Got two pieces of chicken and cornbread for $2.
The chicken was not hot, but the skin was so perfectly crunchy.
Cornbread was store bought from a package, but decent.
Would definitely come back for the chicken. The mac and cheese looked a little dried out.

Great food and customer service! Katie was very nice and let us sample some items before purchasing. We had stumbled upon her restaurant and were very happy with the quality of the food. The jerk chicken and collard greens were delicious and the mac 'n cheese was AMAZING. We got some complimentary corn bread which was super good as well, and got a tub of banana pudding to go. The servings were generous, so my $12 plate was almost 3 solid meals!
