So good! We had friends coming over and got the short rib plate and the fish/chips, but we ate all of the fish before the friends showed up, because it was too tasty. Can't wait to get back and try more of the menu. Thank you Royal Rib House!!!!

First, they kept me on hold for over an hour. Second, when they were on Halsey and troop the food was good. Now yesterday, September 2, 2022. I brought sides, since I was on the phone waiting so long I ended up frying up my own chicken. They didn't have potatoes salad so I took macaroni salad.when I opened the container liquid spilled all over me. I don't know who did the cooking, but the food didn't taste fresh. The string beans, sweet potato, maccheese, black eye peas and rice. All tasted like leftover food. I never going back. They need to get it together. Remember, how your family and friends cooked the food on Halsey and get back to it. I really hate doing this, but the truth is the truth

This is the place to get some good old southern food. The ribs are excellent. All the sides are good, you really can't go wrong with any of them. I am sooooo glad they are back open. If there is a down side its the long lines to get your food but it is well worth the wait.

Love this restaurant! The atmosphere is always family friendly. Wait was short and food was absolutely delicious. Sunday dinner on a Friday. ❤️❤️

Traditional takeout place, recently reopened. The most entertaining food line I was in, ever.

Food was okay. Ribs are excellent but no food is worth waiting 3 hrs for. They need to prep food from early and start. Shouldn’t tell customers something isn’t ready. Not only is it bad customer service, people started leaving. Do better!

To invest in a restaurant consultant to move the orders and implement a new serving system would be an investment. Once the notoriety wares off, after being closed, I don't see patrons returning to wait online for over 1.5 to 2hrs. New hires, change in prep of orders. For example dinners and large orders should have different lines/or pre-paid services available. Food is tasty, but they get 1 /2 stars for service. The community is trying to support this black owned establishment, but a revamping is needed.

The food was real good. Taste like old times. The restaurant opened nearly 30 minutes late. I got in line at 11:45am and did not get my order til 1:40pm. Almost two hour wait. There has to be a better system

The waiting time for food is unbearable. Arrived at 12:45 pm, and received my food at 4 pm on a Friday. Chicken tasted greasy and old compared to previously. Prices are astronomical but I was willing just to indulge in what I missed so much. There is a need for a better system of ordering and taking of orders. I am disappointed, yet praying that the get it together.

I’m so happy they are back and open for business. I went the first day they opened and of course the line was so long but hey it was their grand opening what else would you expect? The food is just as good as it was before. I was worried they would change a recipe or two but no everything is just s I remembered. Best chop bbq sandwich in nyc! Everyone on the line bragged about how good the food was and the memories they had of this place. Make sure you stop by hopefully the lines will die down as time goes on but it’s worth the wait either way!
