We had this place cater my work annual picnic, and everyone loved the food. The pernil slaps hard, arroz y gandules was delish, and maduros were perfect! Hands down the best pernil I've ever had, beats my Abuela’s ????????♀️ The fried chicken was a nice touch - didn't expect it to be so good. Definitely recommend for quick takeout or catering!

Only Mami can make better rice ❤️???????????????? But, I’m not gonna drive two hours to have dinner… When I can go right down the street off Prospect Avenue and come to this authentic Puerto Rican cuisine… There’s no match… Flavorful rice… Juicy and savory meat dishes… Beans to kill for… And competitive pricing… Good service quick… Not a place where you can really dine (it’s like a takeout more than eating)… But this is the place to come for great food and Take home to savor and eat!!!!

This little spot of authentic Puerto Rican food was what Park Slope needed to have. Delicious alcapurrias, arroz with gandules, pernil and all the Puerto Rican authentic food you need. LOVE IT. Highly recommend it.

Great spot for lunch or quick meal. Everything we’ve had has been delicious. The pork, chicken, rice, beans with pumpkin, stuffed plantains…

This is a little place with only a few tables which makes it feel cozy. More of a take out place, especially if you don't want to cook. This is true and AUTHENTIC Puerto Rican food!
Everything we got was amazing and flavorful! The portions were great! We got a medley of food. We tried the arroz con gandules y pernil, baked chicken, alcapurrias, empanadas ( mac & cheese and pernil) and the tres leches, banana pudding cupcakes. They have an array of fritura like bacalaítos, relleno de papa that are only made as ordered.
My only regret was not getting more food for leftovers! You wont regret it!

This was a great spot for a quick lunch special. Food was tasty & delicious. The staff was great. I highly recommend when your really want a spanish style dish to go.
