Looking for tasty food menu was limited food was looking tasty walked 10 blocks to check them out from opera house hotel meat was old hard and dry and the man serving was grumpy and kinda rude when looking over wall menu he told us what you see is what you get...

Ordered the Oxtail macncheese steamed veggies . Oxtails cooked just right veggies were nicely seasoned . Mac and cheese was decent . I will go again.

I just got my order and I’m disappointed. I got fried fish and shrimp with 2 sides. The fish is soggy and flavorless not a drop of seasoning. The Mac has no cheese and the yams taste like water. I also orders the turkey wings with rice and peas and collards.. the rice is hard and the greens are cabbage…. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN

I personally didn’t get to try it but I ordered it for my boyfriend and he enjoyed it! Great price for a platter that will definitely fill you up!

I ordered smothered pork chops Mac n cheese and collard greens. I can’t even tell wats wat. I didn’t ask for cabbage and the porks chops were not smothered at all dry as a bone. The Mac n cheese was smothered. Very unsatisfied I threw the entire plate in the trash. Never again.

Thought I try some soul food today. I go in gentlemen greets me. I ordered rice, mac&cheese, veggies, and fried chicken. I must say food looked good. Gentlemen says "that would be 16 dollars" so I took out a 10 and said keep the change. He said "no it's 16 dollars", I was taken a back because it is a little on the expensive side. Overall food was good. Way to expensive!

Food was delivered cold. The fish,the Mac and cheese,the shrimp and the cabbage were very bland under seasoned. The pork chops and rice and peas is the only reason I gave it 2 stars ????. I will not order from this restaurant again. My initial order was oxtails instead of the chops but they were out of them. Really wanted to try them but now I don't think so.

Had an amazing lunch at Sam's. Food was delicious. The jerk chicken, smothered pork chops, mac-n-cheese, greens, and yams were out of this world! Great service and drinks.
