Way overpriced for just decent food. They def don't use regular mayo in their potato salad nor Coleslaw, brisket is fatty and only has flavor in the crispy top layer, cornbread was decent, but crumbly, greens were vinegary, beans were very rich.
Basically, everything was decent for the 1st couple of bites, because I haven't had BBQ in over a year, but then I realized this wasn't it at all.

About the best Texas-style BBQ you can get in NYC. Super chill environment in a fun neighborhood. Can't go wrong with the barbecue basics. Their sides were all exceptional too and they had a great beer list. Definitely worth a visit.

It’s hard to get good bbq when you’re no longer in the South. This was excellent, considering. Brisket was the star and the wings were dry, to be honest, but the sauces made everything that much better. I plan on coming back soon. We had to leave early but their venue was doing a predominantly woman comedy show, which definitely adds to the appeal of coming back in the future.

Delicious... food was great. Only downside was the brisket was super fatty.. you pay by weight.. with the brisket you paid more for fat than meat.. couldve just been that cut.. otherwise i wouldve given 5 stars. Everything else was delicious. And drinks were great. Tey them out..

Enjoyed my experience here with a friend. I recommend the beef brisket compared to the pork, but their pulled pork is still outstanding. (Wanna try the ribs next time.) sides were ok, pretty classic. The broccoli could’ve have more flavor and the cornbread could be more moist.
????However, if u always need some sweets to end your meal, I highly recommend their double chocolate cookie.. housebaked and it was great!

Very good food! We went Sunday at noon and there was plenty of seating available. The food was delicious! Our favorites were the ribs and brisket. They have 4 different sauces on the table that you can use. The sides are really good as well.

Tried quarter pounds of the burnt ends and the pork belly, with the potato salad on the side. Prices average for NYC, above average generally. Taste for the meats was good, and the spicy BBQ sauce was really hot. Didn't like the potato salad though, which lacked intensity in flavour especially when eaten with the meats.

A tasty BBQ joint when you need your Texas BBQ fix. The location of the restaurant is unassuming, almost like an alleyway. As you walk in, the open outdoor concept reminds me of BBQ places in Texas and also adds to the dining experience. I was invited here for an impromptu dinner with my BFs family. We ordered a variety of meats, from BBQ ribs, pulled pork, brisket & burnt ends. I have to say, aren’t burnt ends everyone’s fave? I really enjoyed the burnt ends mixed with beans, delicious! The BBQ ribs & brisket were on par and the sides complimented well with the meats. Ironically, I have dined at their Philadelphia location when I lived in Philly for graduate school and it is as good as I remembered. Consistency is A plus for me.

Perfect for when you’re craving meat. The non meat sides are great as well, broccoli and potato salads are must haves. It’s really saddening when they run out of brisket in a world full of shortages you may want to call ahead. Solid choices when it comes to fully stocked bar with cocktails and draft beers as an added bonus.
