We just finished (well…attempted to finish) our BBQ platters. Absolutely amazing, everything was fresh, hot and full of flavor. The ribs fall off the bone and the barbecue sauce has a sweet kick to it. It’s just right! The cornbread is to die for (make sure you get the maple butter!). We cannot wait to have this again, absolutely phenomenal!

Food presentation and customer service was good! But the ribs WERE NOT cooked all the way through, you really need to take your time with ribs no short cuts. The pulled pork lacked seasoning. I wish the food tasted as good as it looked.

Shout out to Ian who was super amazing giving us recommendations and excellent service. We got sampler platters and they were top-notch. The Bama hot sauce wings and Dino rib were my favorite part of the meal. The hush puppies are massive and delicious.

This place is horrible I ordered 140.00 of food for my staff. I wanted to show my appreciation for all their hard work cleaning our students classrooms this summer. This place was highly recommended by a staff member.I assumed I would receive fresh food since I ordered as soon as they opened. The food was disgusting . The chicken was dry the cornbread was hard the greens were cold . The macaroni cheese taste like milk. Needless to say my staff were very upset. I immediately called the store to inform them. They stated they would reimburse me for the food. They never did I called and called they kept giving me the run around. Money wasted. Definitely will not recommend

Sophie's BBQ was super good! I took my mom here for her birthday dinner and the food was exceptional. The portions are great, we had more than enough food with some to take home, the corn bread was substantial, and the meats were cooked perfectly! Also, parking is cheap and very accessible and they have outdoor seating!

I am lucky enough to have eaten in excellent BBQ joints across the country. This is one of them. The ribs and the pulled pork were terrific. The sides were amazing. The baked beans were incredible, took the prize. The collard green were amazing. The cornbread was awesome, ask them about the secret ingredient. This place just was selected for Best of the Main Line, and it deserves that recognition.

Snagged two dinners to-go, ribs and brisket. Tried the various sides and they were all heckin’ delicious. Mac + cheese is creamy as all get out, but not heavy in the least. The baked beans with bacon snuck in there? Gimme, gimme more. Fries were tasty and the ribs and brisket were hella melt in your mouth. Corn bread was superb and the accompanying butter was a perfect touch. BBQ sauce, homemade by a culinary wizard of the Greater Philly area. Worked in food service for years and can legit say, this food rocked the casbah! Stoked for leftovers tomorrow ???? and pumped to return another time for a terrific feast!

Best BBQ I can remember having in a very very long while. Everything was made and done to perfection! Keep doing your thing, team at Sophie’s!!! Would 100% recommend!

Very tasty brisket sandwich. Next time I’ll ask for the bbq sauce on the side bc the brisket is delicious without it. The corn bread has a touch of maple cinnamon in it which is quite tasty.

First time visit here and I wish I had taken some photos of the food, but we couldn't wait to dig in! We had the chicken and waffles and the Alabama chicken sandwich and both were amazing. Chicken was tender, moist and full of flavor. Highly recommend a visit if bbq is your thing! UPDATED - Adding pics from our second visit. Still amazing!!!
