First time trying there food , had beef ribs , chicken , greens , mac & cheese cornbread & potato salad. My Wife & I were very pleased with everything, looking forward to trying the beef brisket next time.

The beef ribs slid right off the bone and the Mac and Cheese & Collard Greens hit the taste buds different. 10/10 They definitely a must try if you’re in Philly

I know the area fairly well, but these pix do not show the place. We were on our way and went to diagonal restaurant. Sorry to say that our mistake was not a mistake. But hope to try Angry’s place very soon…even had our beer on ice.

Got the brisket platter tonight and let me tell you, this place does NOT disappoint. It's a little pricey for the platter, but you get plenty of food to last you so don't worry! The brisket was soft and juicy as hell, and the mac and cheese along with the potato salad was incredible.
The downside is that they're only open on the weekends Friday through Sunday but honestly that just means one more thing to look forwards to at the end of the work week.
Excited to use the leftovers for a sandwich tomorrow! After I run out, I'll be sure to be back!

Very nice and helpful people in the front... even though they ain't wanna shred the brisket on my sandwich (all jokes). The sandwich was phenomenal as well as the hot BBQ sauce they put on. They asked first which is always a plus. The meat was juicy, tender, with some fat which was not overwhelming. Nice brioche bun with a slight toast. The mac was good too. I like my cheese more melty, but the flavor was there. I'd go there again. The prices were a Lil up there, but you get what you pay for.

I was pleasantly surprised that EVERYTHING TASTED GREAT. The MAC N CHEESE was made just like my mom's. The collards had just enough vinegar in them. And the Pulled Pork was smackin!

Beef Brisket and Ribs are so tender, meaty and deliciously seasoned/smoked that you don't need barbecue sauce! The mac and cheese is Okay but I will definitely be back for more barbecue. I will try the beef short ribs during my next visit!

Best ribs I had in a while! Customer service is A1 very friendly .. Mac & cheese is delish. Oh & that blueberry cornbread???? I had to come back & bring a friend. Can’t wait till my next visit

So glad I came to Philly tonight and tried this place! Food was amazing and great portion sizes! You will not be disappointed. Place is small, however we got seated right away and this place is very clean, in addition the staff was very friendly. I ordered the pork spare ribs with Mac and cheese and collared greens , and it was good as hell!!! Beef Brisket was incredible as well!!!! Definitely can't wait to come back!!!! ???????? ???? ???? ????

Best ribs I've had in a long time!! Tender, fall of the bone, so much flavor we didn't need any sauce! Don't get me started in the pulled pork sandwich... easily a pound of deliciousness in a brunch bun as the perfect compliment! And the service was excellent!! Everyone was polite and attentive we definitely felt like our business was appreciated.
