I've been here a couple times and I love this place. It's one of my new little hole in the wall spots after a hard day's work. The wings are just how I like them, spicy and saucy. The Guacamole and chips never disappoint. I like their margarita flavors, reg, spicy strawberry, mango, all delightful in a glass or a pitcher. The pork buns are good along with the freedom tacos and chicken nachos.

Jose Pistola’s was my go to lunch spot before the pandemic when I worked in the office. I recently went back because I missed the pork belly burrito and I was thrilled it was exactly the same. It’s an awesome place to hang out, relax, eat great food, have some margs - not to mention the BEST tortilla soup I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating

Boozy cocktail and tasty food. Pocket friendly.

Food is disgusting. Mahi mahi tacos are dry and not seasoned. Only flavor is with the sauce on top. My nephew ordered fries which were cold and soggy. We asked for a new order and were returned with the same fries cooked again, hard and burned.

Nice Mexican restaurant right in the center of town. Good drinks and good fare. Worth a visit. Will definitely come back and try more food. Was so hungry forgot to take food pics ????♂️

The food and service were both excellent. I felt a bit bad for the server because he was the only one here and had to work the tables and bar but did a great job. Everything we ordered was fabulous. The chips, guacamole, chicken tinga tacos, and chicken enchiladas were all fabulous. I ordered the rice and beans as a side too and they were good but not as great as the rest of the food. We’re really happy we found this place!

Had high hopes for Jose Pistola's based off other reviews but overall came away with mild impressions. We were immediately seated on an early Friday afternoon, and the vibes inside were very fun. The beer selection was great, and I enjoyed my smokey margarita. The food however was okay at best. The guacamole was frankly mush, and our nachos and tacos very bland. Additionally, the restrooms are fairly treacherous, with toilets 3 flights of stairs up.
If I had friends particularly asking to return, I might consider it. Otherwise, likely won't go back.

Great Dive Bar/Restaurant (compliment). I had lunch in the city with a friend lunch. Very small clean three story bar/restaurant. Only the first floor was open Saturday when we went. The first floor seats about 28 people in the dining room and about 12-15 at the bar. Service: Yolanda was our server and she was attentive and professional. Drinks/Food: were great. I had a Mango/Pineapple Martini w/sugar rim, Chips and Guacamole and we both had the Grilled Shrimp Tacos (2). I think the chips are homemade if not they taste as such and are DELIOUS and the shrimp tacos were superb. The bathroom is on the third floor but clean. I would go again.

Cute little bar with narrow spaces and tons of cozy decorations. Food was amazing and delicious, a vibrant take on Mexican classics. My favorite was the korean rib & spicy pork tacos. The flan was to die for.
