This is by far my favorite pizza restaurant in Center City Philadelphia!! I have been here many times and every time everything is always fabulous. The atmosphere and style of restaurant are totally different than the others in the city, it’s more than just great pizza, it’s an experience.

I had put off visiting this place for a few months after receiving a gift card because it was initially difficult to get a reservation (this does not seem to be the case now). Pizzeria Beddia is your typical hole-in-the-wall place with minimal but upscale decor and a small yet elevated menu. We ate at 7:15 on a Friday and the place was hopping.
I mainly came for the pizza but could not resit trying their take on a Caesar salad, with chicories and a citrusy, zesty dressing. I loved it but my girlfriend did not. She said it tasted like a Key Lime Pie. It was certainly refreshing on a hot summer night.
Pizza-wise, we ordered two (which is double what two people should order) because we wanted to try multiple things. We got a #1 standard pizza with pepperoni and sausage and a #2 white pizza with greens (seemingly endives or arugula). Both were good but not great and a little greasier than I would have liked (the white one was less so).
I'm going to give them 4 stars because the food was just not as good as I would have expected. The pizza was greasy and just pretty basic. The atmosphere and service was top notch though. We also got both flavors of soft serve for dessert, which was a really great way to end the meal, especially in the summer.
I will probably be back at some point to try some more of the small plates that all seemed interesting. If you are a drinker (which I am not), the wine list looks fun and the bar seemed lively.

Upscale pizza joint with cool vibes. Food was top notch, with list of apps to choose from, 5 pizza options, and full bar menu. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for a date night or group setting. Felt like a nyc restaurant with the low lights and hip music.

Great food and dining experience in a non assuming place. The location, the alley where the restaurant is located, entrance without any name board will definitely mislead a newcomer. But once we enter the place, the atmosphere speaks itself for the popularity. Pizzas with a twist. Lot many variety for the vegetarians.
Service is excellent. Better book in advance.
Asparagus+ lemon full vin+ mozzarellas,
Tomato+ roasted onion
Burrata+beetroot+ strawberry.
Expresso soft serve (Coffee)
Each item was good.

This was the first time I've ever gone out to eat with my partner and she didn't say a word from how focused she was enjoying everything.
I was born and raised in NYC so pizza is my love language. I've had all sorts of pizzas at all price ranges on a weekly basis for my entire life. This place is easily my favorite pizza in Philly so far and some of the best I've ever had. The crust is perfectly cooked with an amazing crunch yet the perfect fold which is insanely hard to accomplish.
I will say though for the classic pie #1 don't order more than one or two toppings you'll start to take away from the pizza the more you add.
The cheeses here are awesome so much so the white pie was my favorite.
Aside from Fabolous pizza all their other dishes are insanely delicious. Old fashioned was as good as I could have asked for.
Staff was incredibly nice and my server in particular was a mind reader. We didn't say much since we were stuffing our faces but we didn't need to. All our needs were anticipated and that's such a nice feeling A+.

AMAZING PIZZA! the specialty pies they have are one of a kind and I have loved every one I have tried. Pricing is a little more than a standard pizza but completely worth it and you also get way more than just a "standard pizza" at this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, it's actually very deceiving because at first you don't even realize it's a restaurant and looks like an abandoned spot (with the weathered plywood and barbed wire on top) but once you walk in the outdoor area has such a cool, chill vibe, as well as the inside. I am curious as to why they chose to have the outside look like this. But the whole atmosphere is different from any other pizza place I've ever been too. The drinks are great, appetizers are great, and I've heard great things about the Hoagie Room but haven't had a chance to try it yet. 10/10 would recommend!

Loved the Caesar salad soo much! Love a place where the price matches the portion for the table. The burrata balls are delicate and delicious, I think it should come with crispy crust rather than big pizza bread chunks since you’re going to eat pizza anyway. The service was fantastic and the whole vibe and ambience. Will be back again soon!

This was the best pizza I’ve ever had. Went there with my family after seeing the video on Vice, and we were able to make a same day reservation for the patio at night. It was actually very warm for outside! There’s a lot of hype with this place, but it’s well deserved. Our server, Erin, made the experience fantastic. She did it all, from explaining the menu to turning down the outdoor heater. We’ll be back!

Pizzeria Bedia very crowded on a Monday night. The only option at 7pm was the bar or waiting until 8pm. It’s a nice environment. Our server/waitress/bartender was very helpful. The #5 pizza was delicious with cauliflower, onion, broccoli, and topping cheese was very filling and shared by three people. Watch out, the restaurant will encourage you to order way more than you need. Everyone at the bar had leftovers. The judio beans come in jars on a pallet next to the bathroom. My only bone to pick is that while there is an ‘employees must wash hands before returning to work’ in the bathroom, there are no paper towels so people have to touch the handle. With everything we’ve experienced in the pandemic, I would imagine a restaurant to have paper towels or a foot opener to reduce touching a potentially dirty handle.

What a great place. The vibe is friendly, laid back but you can also see they are serious about the food they serve. We tried the tomato pie which was a must for our group traveling from Chicago, and we shared an arrabiata pizza which was fantastic.
We sat on the patio, which was technically outside, but blocked from the cold on all sides and the wonderful “fire style” space heaters made it very pleasant.
