My life partner and I were looking to have dinner, close to the hotel, during #PhiladelphiaVacation2022. It had been years since either one of us had eaten Philly pizza, so we decided on Wood Street Pizza. I was surprised to see that it was not open for dining in, and it was refreshing to see other people realize that covid19 is still a real thing. Seeing the staff wearing face masks would have been nice, but I digress. I ordered two slices of the Grandma pizza and my life partner had a cheese calzone. Both of us were very satisfied with our dinner and found everything tasty and filling. He and I would definitely buy food here again to take back to our hotel, the next time we visit Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This place is above and beyond. Philly KiDZ Summer Camp got pizza delivered to Wonder Spaces, when we were on a trip today. My hat's off to the owner for producing the best tasting pizza pie I have had in years. Truly Philly's finest.

The pizza is delicious and one of the better pizza’s in Philly. Great value and always on time for pickups.

Got pickup here a few times. Their large size is enormous! The meatball pie is one of my favorites. Ordering online is simple and orders are usually ready before the provided ETA. Service is quick and friendly. Highly recommend adding hot honey to your order.

I can't say enough great things about this spot. Their pizza is top-tier. There's an italian sandwich on the menu that makes me emotional just to write about.
You can tell that there's a lot of intentionality and care put into the food that is served here and it comes across in your palate. The photos attached honestly don't do the food enough justice.

Wood Street Pizza is the best in town! I'm a huge fan of this grandma style pie that is a white pizza (pecorino) with crushed plum tomato, fresh basil, and herbs. The crust is light and airy, chewy–yet crispy. The flavors are complex and bright. It's always a treat picking up one of these large pies, which was ready today in less than 10 minutes. Ordering on woodstreetphilly.com was a breeze. Today's pizza was the best one I've ever had. I don't live nearby anymore, but it was well worth my drive into center city to pick this beauty up. Thank you, Wood Street Pizza!

The pizza is definitely good. The fresh dough is great. But I knocked off a star because I ordered olives on half got olives on the whole thing. So somebody needs to pay a little better attention to the ordering process. And some friends were visiting the owner (whom I know by first name from going in there a few times), and he brought shots for them and himself and couldn't just slide me one? I thought that was a little inhospitable. But whatever.

I had like 15 mins left in my parking meter so needed a quick lunch. Stopped by and oh boy I’m glad I did. I got the cheesesteak and pepperoni pizza. The crust was so crispy but not burnt. The cheesesteak one was my favorite. The steak was so meaty and overall just a great bite with the cheese and crust. Pepperoni was also great. Will come back if in the area.

I frequent this business often, and three times my order was made incorrectly. Today, I returned for a replacement Cesar salad minus anchovies and adding arugula. Can you even see the arugula in this salad? The manager (could be the owner, not sure, but it’s the Asian guy who walks around with a very noticeable “RBF”) remade it skimping me on presentation, croutons, cheese and arugula. Not to mention, the chicken tasted like wood chips. At least when the cook gets my order right it’s a beautifully made salad. The owner walks over with an attitude which already fueled me considering half my lunch break was over. He didn’t even apologize for the mix up. He says in a rude nasty tone “What’s the issue, I made your salad”! You don’t talk to customers like that! The nerve! I’m the one who was inconvenienced! This is a place I spend at least $200 a month in on salads alone. Never again. I rather take my money someplace else that prides themselves on consistency and 100% customer service.

This place is the best. From the people that work there to the pizza they serve. Top tier all around. I always get the carbonara pizza. It's so delicious and each slice gets an over easy egg cooked to perfection.
