According to my son there's no really good bbq places in Philadelphia until they came across ZigZag BBQ. He was excited to introduce us to what they had to offer. Their 1/2# beef brisket was tender & moist and the 1/2# pork nubs were delicious as served and w complementary sauces. I got more excited w their unique twists to the sides. Each had a creative flavor and style that made it fun to eat. We loved the corn bread w miso maple sumac butter, juicy minced cole slaw, queso macroroni & cheese, and sichuan style smash cucumbers. The latter two had a nice light burn.

I thought there might have been a mix up for a minute and had to double check my order- the portion for a half rack of ribs is HUGE. Like seriously I'll be eating this for days. On top of that so tender and delicious. A million bonus points for being celiac safe! Extremely grateful to have this gem so close to home. Thanks Zig Zag!

The pork ribs was tender but I think that if they put a better sauce it will be a lot better. Mac and cheese was good. Potato salad was nasty did like. Corn bread was ok

I’ve gotten food from here twice. First time was beef brisket, second time chicken. Both were phenomenal, easily some of the best BBQ I’ve had. The sides are also excellent, in particular the potato salad.

Ordered a takeout today: 1/2lb of brisket, 1/2lb of pulled pork, a medium mac+cheese, and corn bread. Overall, great service with online ordering and easy pick up. I watched the crew package up my meal right in front of me which was nice to know it wasn’t sitting around waiting for me.

The brisket was good; a little fatty for my liking but it made for a delicious slice of brisket so I’m not complaining. Ask me about the pulled pork though… now that was excellent!!!! The corn bread had great corn flavor but the mac+cheese and the bbq sauce were just eh. Overall a pretty good bbq experience here in the city and I’d be happy to go back any time!

I stopped in for lunch with my wife. I got the pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the brisket sandwich. Both were huge. While the pulled pork was good, the brisket was out of this world. The bark on the brisket was amazing. The pulled pork sandwich came with a side. I got the mac and cheese. It was one of the best I've had in a really long time. It was so creamy and had a nice little spicy to it. I will definitely be going back here often.

Seriously ????. Get the kale ceaser salad its amazing and I know you're thinking ugh kale but wow. I literally don't want any other salad...Second time ordering and loved everything. Brisket was so good and tender. The turkey ???? and the pork was amazing. The mac is creamy and delicious. The previous order we had the sandwiches and they were loaded and awesome. I wish I had pictures to share but it all went too fast!

Zig Zag is open for indoor dining, they have a dope beer & natural wine selection for in-house and to go! Pictured: their pulled pork sandwich (its amazing ????) + a human robot beer, I also tried a peach old fashioned. Definitely suggest checking this spot out!

Hands down the best BBQ in the city. Everything was delicious but the star of the meal was the ribs. Tender, juicy, and delicious. The sides were out of this world too. The queso mac had just the right amount of heat and the Mexican creamed corn was a knock out! I will definitely be back soon!
