Pretty good food but NOT OKAY they don’t list walnuts as an ingredient on their menu for their French toast. My friend has a nut allergy and started getting a tingly tongue. We asked the server and he said yes there’s nuts in the bread. He apologized and brought her something else but I was so surprised, especially these days with all the food allergies (my nephew is deathly allergic to nuts). If they would add those important ingredients to their menu, I would certainly return and recommend. I had the eggs Benedict that included corn which was a pleasant addition!

This place blew my mind. We got a chance to try many different dishes at Fork and I can say all of them were delicious. Some personal favorites of mine were the grilled shishito peppers, de-glae asheville cheese, house made charcuterie and the dry aged bone in steak. I really appreciate the whole head of garlic for the steak alone with the bone marrow that you can't get enough of. The sauce combined with the corn on the shishito peppers was immaculate. The charcuterie was really unexpected but the duck rillettes were addicting. I high recommend the old city cruch for drinks, but it's dangerous because I didn't taste the alcohol at all. The whole branzion also deserves some recognition. Even though I do not enjoy most fish, this dish was well done and I didn't get any fishy smell or taste that I disliked.

Beautiful and trendy decor. Wait staff professional and attentive. Food was so so. Over spiced and favors lost in mass up of culinary ideas. Might have been a bad day. Ask lots of questions about the menu to ensure you get what you desire.

Food 9/10
The duck was outstanding, super tender and loved the touch of spice and honey glaze. Not too crispy skin, paired well with the tomatoes, peppers, and duck chorizo. The sauce was great, but wished there were a bit more vegetables. The plating was magnificent as well. My friend ordered the soft shell crab, and that was so so good as well, really recommend those two dishes! We also got the Boss Fog and Old Fashioned, the boss fog was quite delicious, tasted a little bit like yakult or yogurt. The Old Fashioned was just a typical one, nothing too amazing.
Atmosphere 8/10
Nice interior, I really liked the lights, high ceilings made it feel very spacious. Also had wifi!
Service 10/10
Super friendly and accommodating, great at explaining the dishes and giving recommendations, attentive service!

I had a great time in your restaurant. Succulent dishes, I had the stripped bass and my hubby had the burger. Cocktails and wine were great, I loved the atmosphere, not too noisy for a busy night, very stylish and cozy. The service was immaculate. Definitely will come back.

Oh my. Where do I begin. First of all, they are open for lunch! Unheard of in Old City in these times (2022) even though the mandate lifted they are still asking to see vac cards. Which I didn’t mind and actually appreciated.
If your still reading, here’s the good stuff. The service is wonderful!!! Like really really nice and professional. Ambiance was great. Food is Devine. I got a salad, side of bread and a beer. Everything was perfect.
I very highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to eat here, and not gonna lie, it was quite disappointing. We ordered the burger and the bass tail, and they have switched it to bass collar without asking or notifying. The fish was alright but was also 75% bone. The burger was a bit salty but ok. We mainly ate the fries and the couscous on the side. They did check in and asked us if we wanted something else but we were already halfway done so we declined. Not impressed, will not be returning.

My daughter and I had lunch here. The food is quite good, although if you prefer to eat vegan, as I do, the menu options are very limited. I had a bowl of celery root soup with chunks of pear poached in red wine. This was a good, filling soup. My daughter had a demi baguette and a cured mackerel salad. She said that both were delicious. The restaurant claims to use locally sourced foods, so my daughter asked about the lemon slices in her salad. The waitress said that they come from North Carolina, and that the restaurant uses local produce as much as possible, but a very few items must be brought in. All in all, it was a good lunch, and visiting the restaurant was well worth it.

We were lucky enough to have a reservation for Thanksgiving lunch. The staff were all very attentive and worked so hard to ensure a wonderful experience for everyone. The food was amazing . It was innovative without being too far from a traditional thanksgiving dinner! We have enough leftovers to keep us fed for days!
Kudos to all of the staff who gave up their day to work.

I was extremely disappointed by my experience dinning here. To note the staff was lovely, the drinks were made well, the atmosphere was nice, the food was quick, however *the food* was my primary issue. The burger I'm told was good, and the pastries we got were also good, but the pastry were from another bakery. I believe High Street Bakery. The French toast was... Different, but not in an enjoyable way. I get the direction they were going, charred, slight possibly rosemary and thyme taste, more savory than anticipated on sourdough I believe. My major disappointment was the polenta. There were a lot of ingredients, squash, several herbs, a poached egg, but it was the most tasteless dish I've had in some time. The only thing that translated was the egg yolk. I'm considering giving it another try for dinner perhaps, maybe it was an off day, but the three stars are only for staff, the drinks, and the atmosphere.
