The Mac and cheese needed salt. The shrimp tacos tasted like soap. I wasn't impressed by the gazpacho but it would be a good cold snack on a hot day. The tortellini was pretty good and the salmon had a nice presentation

I ordered way too much for one person, but everything was very good. I started with an iced tea, which was a very good brew. Mostly places give watered down iced tea, but at Marathon the drink is very dark and actually tastes like tea. This is very rare. I then had the Crispy Calamari, Elijah’s Mac+Cheese, and the turkey club. The calamari and Mac+cheese were both amazing. Every bite made me what the next one even more. The Turkey Club was just average. I was already full by the time i made it to the club, and had to remove all the bread and just eat the bacon, turkey, tomato. Everything served was fresh, and you get a lot of food for the affordable prices.
Very impressed with this place. Simple, convenient, and affordable. Service was fast and friendly. If i lived in Philly, i would be a frequent visitor.

Visited on three separate occasions and all times food was really good. As expected lunch time gets really busy so plan accordingly.

Great food and great service! Had my brother grad lunch here and he loved it. I got the grilled herb chicken with mash and vegetables. It was very nicely seasoned. We also had the calamari and hummus for an appetizer. The pickled veggies that came with the hummus were so good. The calamari was fried to perfection we had to get seconds. Highly recommend

I don't know what word to use but great!!! Me and my friends decided on this restaurant just from walking by and hearing the music. Really fun. The food was really good I really tried to save some for later but it was hard. I haven't had chicken parmesan in a while and I'm glad I had it and it was actually a good dish from a great restaurant. Like I said before the music is what brought us to the restaurant because we could hear it from outside. The music was jamming and the atmosphere and the people that work there were really good. Anytime we needed something brought to our table it came and it was not a long wait. If you are visiting Philadelphia make sure you stop by this restaurant with your friends are family. FYI BE HUNGRY

I love that Marathon has brunch/breakfast all day. The food was incredibly tasty at a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly without being overbearing. The atmosphere is casual and upbeat, and well decorated. I enjoyed my visit. My only small complaint was that I wish they took Discover Card- but I just use my other card when I stop by.

I was in town for a conference and we dropped in. Great food and service. The salads are delectable and so filling. The atmosphere is cool as it is very open. I'd return for sure.

What a coincidence, great place to have some breakfast before heading out to our race (Philadelphi Marathon). Offer indoor and outdoor dining with patio heater. Ordered the Benedictine eggs and quesadilla and it was delicious. Highly recommended to full you body before or after the races!

My husband and I had lunch here. The food was very good. Service was excellent as well.
The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. If in town again, I'd definitely return.
I had the grilled Salmon and mashed potatoes, starting with a house salad with avocado Ranch. My husband had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was good & the fries with it were perfectly cooked.

Met my wife at Rittenhouse Square after work. After looking at Google Maps for dinner locations, we decided to walk around and see what looked good. We walked one block when we came across Marathon Grill. There two sections of outdoor seating looked appealing and the menu looked great. There was a variety of options to choose from and many sounded delicious.
I ordered a sauvignon blanc from the waitress and the wine was from New Zealand. It was delightful. The brisket was good, I especially loved the crispy shallots and onions. The gravy could have used a bit more flavor. The burger my wife ordered was also tasty, particularly the barbeque sauce. What's most appealing is that they use local ingredients. Staff was friendly.
Bathroom finder: walk past the bar and try one of the two nondescript black doors.
