Unfortunately my appetite was ruined by the sight of cockroaches crawling on my plate. The Chef tried to make it right by wrestling the plate out of my hand before the other guest could see. To his credit he did bring us out new plates. But the damage was already done and I couldn't build back up an appetite. In addition to the roach show... I mean hibachi show the hostes at the front door did not present herself in the best light. As we departed the establishment she was observed on the front desk super relaxed with her feet kicked up. The place did not look clean and did not give the appearance of a restaurant that was cared for. Bottom line not a professional look for a restaurant. This place needs to be inspected by the department of health.

Very fresh and savory food. There were many options available in the menu. We tried the ciopino, fish tacos, oysters (those from Baja are the best) and the crab cakes. Views from the window area were nice during sunset. There are also some tables to eat outside with view of the bay. I recommend this place!

And the only reason I rate it 3 stars is because the bartender reed i believe that’s how you spell it is an awesome bartender how ever my passed experience the female bartender with glasses was very rude I had to wait almost 30 min for a drink and flag her down before getting any service and had a very bad attitude if not I’d definitely go back but my first and last experience was horrible

We received a welcome reception invitation to Casa Rio which was a short six minute walk from the Marriott Rivercenter. The location is amazing… right on the Riverwalk. They offer waterside dining, private dining rooms, music and a friendly staff. The event was held in The Veranda room which was setup buffet style offering unlimited food, drinks and networking. The food was decent but the service was great!

A cafe located in little Italy that offers an array pastries to coffee to brunch items to alcoholic drinks. staff was mediocre, cashier felt rushed not very patient. This was our 1st visit. Both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the blueberry muffin, maple scone, dulce du leche cheesecake, iced vanilla latte and hot caramel vanilla latte. The cheesecake and blueberry muffin were delicious, must try items. Average to high prices. Will return in the future, the bakery items were delicious.

Had a great experience dinning in. Went on a Saturday at 7 and was told all the tables were booked and I would have to sit at the bar. I thought it might worsen the experience, but I had a great time. Yvonne the bartender was very welcoming and helpful. The food was great. Got the Tuna crudo, the halibut and the almond cake. All of them top notch with complex flavors and perfectly prepared. Wine list is also very complete. Recommended for sure.

It was nice to eat outside in the gaslamp district. The service was soooo slowww. Our server was friendly, but we were at our table for 15 min before we were acknowledged. We were there an hour before our burger came. After asking for the check we waited another 15 minutes for it. And it was NOT busy. It was after 8 and there were only a few tables. The shrimp app was delicious and the gametome burger was very good too. Tots were cold. Just an ok experience.

Had the sausage roll and a coconut cream pie. I now have a new favorite place for coconut creme pie. Pop pie will be a destination every time I visit San Diego. I can't wait to come back and try some savory pies.

We got some drinks and a handful of apps to share and liked everything we had: Garlic fries, crab cakes, Caeser salad, clam chowder. Our favorite was the calamari, the sauce they serve with it is so good! We will definitely be back and get some full entrees next time.

Ordered from Door Dash and was impressed that everything was correct and hot. The soup was in such a tight lipped container, I had trouble opening it. I'm not complaining; I'd rather it stay in the container than spill out in the bag. The tomato soup was thick and creamy, missing something but flavor was okay. Sweet potato fries were bomb. Salted, crispy on the outside tender on the inside. Definitely recommend getting the Patty melt with melt spice. Soooo juicy and packed with flavor. Good balance of cheese and caramelized onions with a perfectly cooked patty. I was actually disappointed when it was gone.
