Great service, friendly people. The food was amazing, and the drinks were cheep. Visited from Texas and this bar was it. I'm definitely gonna come back and visit when I get the chance

Great staff. Awesome burgers and chicken sandwiches. Good beer selection and bourbon. Chill, slightly divey vibe without the dirt lol. Arcade games. Definitely a great staple in East village.

Outstanding!!! Great bar, good food and drinks. Great location and SUPER friendly staff. If you are looking to hold an event you came to the right place, plenty of room, seating, TVs, and you will get awesome service. Great location for sporting events, be sure to try their Bloody Mary's and all their specialty drinks.
One suggestion to management. Get a Taco Tuesday ???? going, and different events during the week. Time to kick off the new year and pull in the crowd.

Great local place to stop in for a craft beer and some tasty bar food after a big day visiting the zoo. Only a couple miles from the zoo parking lot, free on street parking and easy access back onto the I-5 once you’re done. Food was hot and came out fast, the beer was cold, the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. That’s 5 stars in my book.

This place is amazing! Local spot for East Village. Highly recommend coming here if your visiting or if you live in the area. The food here is phenomenal. You will not be disappointed. The chefs in the back are amazing. And the philly cheesesteak is the best we’ve ever had! The beer list is long with a variety of choices for all beer lovers. If you’re feeling a cocktail but don’t know what you want, they have so many creative options. Eli can definitely make something that you will enjoy! This friendly establishment will make you feel welcomed and wanting to come back again! If you are ever in downtown San Diego you gotta come to Bottle Rocket! We love coming here. I know you will too.

Popped into this hip little spot. We’re in town for a conference and this is an easy scoot from the convention center. It is close enough to the convention center but has way more of a local vibe and gets you out of the tourist trap. If you’re into craft beer they have an epic selection. The bartender was especially nice and knowledgeable. This is a must stop spot if you’re in the downtown area.

I'm proud to be one of the first people to review this place. If you loved the old place that was here, you should love Bottle Rocket. As before, there's a good selection of beer and liquor. But, and I think this is new, now they have some exciting Asian beers and whiskey, in addition to local beer and liquor favorites.
Food seems like basically the same menu as before. We got the philly cheesesteak. The side salad is good. The spicy chicken sandwhich is good. They are new, so the food might change, but as long as they keep the philly cheesesteak on the menu without slipping in quality, this will remain one of my favorite spots.
Several TVs. Newly refurbished interior and bathrooms.
