It's very busy, but there are multiple employees taking orders, so it's pretty quick. The spinach quiche and the almond pear tart are delish. I also got a yogurt cup with peach compote. I prefer a smooth yogurt, this one not so smooth, the compote was good, not too sweet, i think it's made in-house, My friend had the smoked salmon plate & pistachio croissant, she said both were good. The coffee was good & strong too. The dessert case had so many choices, they were all so pretty. Service was good, polite employees. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The parking was limited, there's a parking lot in the back and street parking (good luck).

5 stars for sure . They do alot right to hide what they don't! Our family of 4 found a table with ease. Our children ate well oatmeal and avo toast.
We came back the next day as we knew we would be satisfied.

Had the Tuscan Spiced Eggplant and Veggie Grilled Panini and was delighted how flavorful the seasoning was! The atmosphere is really cute and artsy, but best of all was the attentive and courteous staff. I cannot wait to go back to try their massive assortment of bread!

Bread & Cie Bakery & Café
What can I say about Bread & Cie Café? This place has been around for years and is one of the top bakery’s in San Diego. We come here for the amazing baked goods that are stand-alone delicious. The cinnamon rolls, the muffins, fruit pastries, the various quiche they have. The breads are out of this world great! I miss this bakery and it is a must go when I visit San Diego. We have nothing that is as good as this amazing place here in Seattle. At least I have not found it to date. HappuccinoLife.com

Very busy at 9am on a Wednesday morning. But the line up moved fast.
Pastry products look/taste amazing, most importantly very fresh.

Found this “pit stop” on our way to the 6th bridge (Vermont St) of our urban hike. It was refreshing! Lots of choices in the menu. Food tastes good and service was friendly and quick. This was on 2/14/22 around 1pm and there were several tables available, some with partitions for social distancing.

Bread and Cie is a good bakery. It's very busy inside so try getting things to go. Order the sampler which allows you three different types of bread and some spread. I weirdly liked the onion bread the most. I didn't try anything but bread, but it alone has me interested in trying more items!

A lovely neighborhood French bakery. Fresh baked breads and French inspired pastries daily. Breakfast specials served before 1130 for under 10$. Excellent selection of sandwiches including vegetarian options and high quality cured meats available both cold and hot pressed (panini). Make any sandwich a combo with a salad or a soup for a couple dollars more. Pleasant indoor and outdoor covered seating. Expect a line at lunch or on weekends. Parking available in adjacent lot, free up to one hour.
