I ordered my wedding cake from Jessie's, and the experience was awesome! I've been coming to Jessie's for years because my family's office is nearby. Jessie and his wife are so friendly and helpful, and they worked with me to discuss flavors, design, cost, etc. The price was very affordable, and the cake got rave reviews at our reception. Super fluffy, fresh, and tasty! Highly recommend this shop for a quick bite or for event catering.

Obsessed with the sweets at Jessie's Bake Shop. They don't have a huge variety, but the mini eclairs, the fruit tarts are our favorite! The fruit basket cake - I will never want any other cake for my birthday again! Fresh fruit and cloud - like cream and cake.

I bought a dozen large chocolate chip cookies from this place. I was a regular customer. I gladly paid nearly $30 for them because the ones I had in the past were magnificent. Later that evening after dinner I brought the cookies out for dessert and they were dry and bitter and very crumbly like sand. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests. Upon returning the cookies the next day I was told that they knew they had been over baked so they had a reduced sale on them to me. That'sa lie. I paid full price and never would have paid anything for awful cookies. I cannot believe they knowingly, without warning, sold me an inferior product . When I realised the deceit I wondered what else do they hide from customers ? Are they so cheap that tossing a dozen cookies would bankrupt them? Apparently this place cannot be trusted. I was offered more product in exchange, however, no cash refund. I don't know what else they were hiding in their food so I opted to just leave and no longer patronize this place. My friends and I already had covid 19 , so don't point out about me having guests over. I'm worried about product safety now. The head guy there would not even talk to me. Just told the poor cashier what to parrot. What a way to throw a very nice young lady employee under the bus.

This place is the absolute cutest and the pastries are super yummy! I bring my little here to pick out treats, and I buy some for my coworkers. Everyone enjoys the goodies I bring from this bakery. Support local!

We have been going to the bake shop periodically over the years as I grew up in poway. And my goodness, they NEVER cease to amaze me. The tastes and quality and freshness is unmatched. Thank you for what you do! (Not pictured: two eclairs we couldn’t wait to eat...)

Did our wedding cake 22 years ago and they're still great, you must try their cakes! Honestly the best cakes I've ever tasted and everyone we invite to eat them at our events says the same thing.
BTW, don't listen to the one bad review, they are the same person that gave Dunkin' Donuts a 5 star rating, no comparison, Jessie's is the best.

Jessie's is the best. Everything I've tried has been wonderful. I especially love their fruit tarts and shortbread. Their iced sugar cookies are fabulous. I'd buy more often
if I lived closer.
