From the outside, it looked like a small hole in the wall bar and grill. Once inside, it had a fairly large dining area. The service was GREAT! The menu had a good variety of options and they offer daily specials for food and beverages.
The Cheesy Bacon Tots we ordered as an appetizer were good. The tots were crispy and the cheese and bacon were plentiful. If you like jalepenos, you will love the large jalepeno slices topping the cheese tots.
The wings (6 per order) and burgers we ordered sadly left something to be desired. We ordered the California Burger and the Blue Cheese Burger on special for the day. The burger patties appeared to be frozen patties. The patty did not have much flavor at all. The toppings were delicious and would have been so much better on a fresh patty. The regular fries served with the burgers were a bit soggy.
We enjoyed our visit and will try some of their other menu items in hopes of finding their signature dishes.

I've been coming here for 40+ years. They have great burgers (my favorite is the bison burger) and it'all reasonably priced. Great bar and the John Wayne room!

This dive bar and restaurant has been here for years and years but I just recently discovered it. Been a couple of times now and so far the food has been great! Have tried the shrimp cocktail, homemade potato chips, calamari strips, tuna melt and turkey Reuben. Everything was delicious, I especially like the tuna salad they make here. I'm fussy about my tuna salad and typically don't like it at most restaurants, however this place is an exception! I had the tuna melt on sourdough bread with Swiss cheese instead of rye bread and American cheese. They are happy to customize dishes to your liking. Oh yes, and the servers have all been very friendly and on point! I'll be back!

Unexpected gem in the stripmall. Fun decor, kinda dive bar-esc, but comfortable ????. Super affordable! Loved the cheesy bacon jalapeno tater tots. GF got the Shorthorn burger, and I got the Longhorn. Good legit burgers (could have had a bit more season to the meat).

My grandma used to take my brother and I here. 30 years later we still come here. I think the ownership has changed hands but things haven't changed. The service is friendly. The burgers are awesome. Their daily specials are great and always changing. The 'Duke' John Wayne theme is cool. This bar and grill is kid friendly. It's full of locals watching sports, new fathers from Kaiser Hospital celebrating the birth of their child and families eating comfort food. Definitely best burger this side of The 5 freeway.

Went for dinner with my wife on Tuesday night. Great selection of beer and Cocktails. Food was okay, special. Great atmosphere lots of energy. A nice neighborhood watering hole with food service.
