Eleven years ago when I moved to San Diego I walked around my neighborhood of North Park and Redwing was the first bar I ventured into. I have been back a number of times since and they have yet to disappoint. Karaoke in the front bar, a chill patio out back, killer chicken wings, and exceptional customer service keep me coming back time and again.

Rude staff, incompetent bartenders. Would love to recommend but can’t. Bartenders make the wrong drink then try to over charge. Security couldn’t tell you left from right. Don’t waste your time they discriminate. I watched security throw out a minority man because he stood too close to a white girl. Very disappointing.

Local bar vibes, fun place to start or end the night. Karaoke is a blast. Cheap drinks and nice staff.

The drinks were decent but the KJ (Tony) skipped over us 3 times to keep his friends going.
It was his birthday which I was happy he was celebrating but for me to have over 3 hours without him calling me and when I asked about it he said I missed it (I didn't) and then he continued to put 5 more of his friends up before I just gave up and left.
Tony sucks.
The bar is decent.

This is a lovely little bar in the bustling city of San Diego! Affordable drinks in an oasis of high prices, they also have food!!! I didn't try it but it's supposedly decent ????????

Really fun bar, always has a great crowd - but the dj will arbitrarily re-order songs on a whim (and sometimes drop them altogether). Makes for a bad experience, multiple folx had similar complaints as we were ushered out

Don’t have any expectation for you or your friends to sing, even on a weeknight, although it’s fun to watch others sing. DJ will play favorites and push you to the back of the queue continuously until the bar closes.

Gay friendly neighborhood bar. Good mix of couples. They had karaoke every night at 7:00 but we didn't stay that long. Good happy hour drink prices. Food was excellent. We have been there three times and we're never disappointed. The spicy cauliflower in particular was very good.

If you miss the service you don’t get in a touristy city… come see Tracy. Great place to watch sports and actually hear the games! Have some wings and tots and just relax. A gem in north park for sure.
