Awesome little diner. The breakfast was good and the prices were fair. Service was top notch. I wish I could remember our servers name. She definitely deserves a raise. We had the pancakes....very fluffy and tasty, scrambled eggs were good. The country fried steak was good but definitely not home made. My girlfriend said the biscuits were a little dry. She said the sausage made up for it though.

First time dining at Black Bear Diner and Katie made it very welcoming! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and had suggestions. I will be returning and trying out more of the menu. Keep up the great work Katie and Black Bear Diner

Lovely place in north Houston ideal for a big breakfast.
Loved the style of the restaurant and the service was very good. Our waitress was pretty attentive and patient.
The menu has many many options. Servings are pretty big so keep this in mind when ordering.
Very limited vegan/vegetarian options and no milk substitutes.

Had an amazing waitress name Alexis.. she had the best customer service. She made us feel like we were having breakfast at home. Food was delicious.

Truly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Alexis is the best. So attentive and bubbly. Fast service, great food. I would totally recommend coming in for the dinning experience.

The food here is outstanding! We ordered breakfast for dinner, the food was served in record time, and everything was cooked to perfection. Trayvonne, our waiter, was very attentive. He served us promptly and was very friendly. Definitely recommend this spot! Two thumbs up from both me and my boyfriend.

Second time eating here. Always great service and attentive staff. We are from San Antonio and would make the 3 hour drive everyday if possible. This restaurant is a must for city. Know San Antonio would love it too.

First time here as visiting from Ohio. Service was amazing as was the food. Had the Bears choice breakfast and was delicious, definitely it'll wan to being an appetite as the pancakes were huge but so tasty. If I'm in Texas, or any other state that has a Black Bear Diner I will definitely be stopping in.

It was my first visit to this location. Today my server was Stanley Stephens he did an outstanding job bringing us our food and waiting on us. He routinely kept coming to check on us to see if we were good. His smile said it all. The restaurant was busy but they still managed to keep it clean &the restrooms to.
I really enjoyed black bear diner.
The breakfast was definitely on point.
I ordered a vegetarian omelette with french toast and grits it was off the charts good. Um um good really!
The coffee was A++
