Went here for brunch and everything was on point. There is a 2 hr free garage parking next to the establishment if you don’t want to pay for parking. Here, you order and pay first and then you get your food. So do that before you sit down and wait for a waiter that won’t come. The food was delicious. Nothing to complain about. You can tell the orange juice is 100% squeezed and the caffè latte did not disappoint. Jose Luis was very attentive and kept checking up on us. Would most definitely recommend for brunch. (I haven’t tried the lunch or dinner, but I’ve heard good things)

This place is awesome. Very laid back and pleasant atmosphere. The food was so good, plenty of flavor along with a unique menu. We ordered the Burger Benedict and the chorizo taco plate. Both plates were great. Love this place!

Been here a few times and the food is always great! The margarita flight drinks are good i just wish the would serve them cold and not room temperature. Line get king so it’s always best to get there early! And i mean like 10am-10:30am. Lol but overall it’s a great place for brunch

Black Walnut Cafe has the most amazing brunch! Every time we’ve gone and tried something new we haven’t been disappointed. So delicious! We’ve had the Bacon & Avocado Benedict, Brisket Benedict, Avocado toast with chicken sausage, Chicken & Waffles, Salmon Omelette and the Pecan Pie pancakes. Their Lattes are great too!

You cannot miss this place!!! Wow, the food is outstanding and the service is great. This is some of the BEST breakfast I have had. What makes this breakfast stand out is that both sausage and bacon are included in the big breakfast 2.0 platter. Most restaurants only give you the choice of one. Their breakfast potatoes were so good. You order at the counter, and then your food is brought out to you. Fantastic service and great atmosphere.

This place was superb! The customer service was excellent, they were very attentive and welcoming. Everything was very clean and sanitized. The food was delicious and very filling. We ordered two Avocado Bacon Benedicts, one TX Whiskey Pecan Pie Pancakes, a hot chocolate and a latte. The benedict sauce was very flavorful and the house potatoes were to die for. The pancake syrup was on point, just the right amount of sweet. The drinks were also luscious and creamy. And although the restaurant was quite full, the food didn't take longer than 10-15 min to be served from the moment we ordered. The servers were super nice and darling by! Overall we had a great experience, we recommend this place 10/10!

First time here and we will be back.
Place was really nice and clean, decor was cool.
Food was quick and hot.I had the venison burger and fries and my wife had the pot roast grill cheese. Both were amazing and really flavorful.
She also got a salad and had the lemon vinaigrette and it was a great combination.
Tones to shopping around after you get done eating.
They had wine and beer available.

This place is laid back and cozy. It’s in Rice Village so there’s lots of shops and bars you can walk to, after eating.
The food is great and so are the cocktails. I had a Bloody Mary and it was spicy and delicious. I recommend it if you like a spicy drink. I ordered it with Tito’s Vodka.
The breakfast plate was good everything was cooked well, except the grits, they were a little soggy, I like mine a little more stiff.
Overall the staff was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. For a Saturday afternoon there wasn’t much of a wait which was awesome as well, because who wants to wake up hungry and wait hours for a seat!

My first time at Black Walnut and it was amazing!! I’m glad I decided to try it????
I wanted to try breakfast but went with the queso it’s outrageously delicious! It has onion roasted peppers and Italian sausage. The burger in this picture is just a kids menu burger and I only ate half it was definitely a filling burger. The garlic mash was perfect as well. Ordered an iced latte with espresso that was very good too! Also they offered me a free gelato on the house since it was my first experience. The flavor was grapefruit, it was a nice and refreshing taste. The experience at this restaurant was amazing and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I took my sister and his friend here for lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and we really enjoyed eating out on the patio. The restaurant’s decor was very nice, warm and inviting. The cashier was very friendly and helpful.
