The location off of 290 is fantastic so figured we'd give this place a shot. Water tasted horrible and didn't receive a fresh glass after receiving a lemon (even though I said I'm allergic). Left without eating as we were told the build your own boil HAD to be 3 different items (never had that issue at the other location).
Go to the 290 location...worth the drive.

I really enjoy eating at Blue water. The food has always been consistently fresh and delicious. This was my fourth visit. The day was beautiful, so I did not mind the drive. The parking was much improved, now that it was paved. I would definitely eat there again.

Tyran is my favorite waiter. My husband and I go on Wednesday's for the charbroiled oysters which are delicious. The whole staff is actually really nice. The stuffed shrimp are also good. There are a few things I like. The drinks are also good and reasonable.

First of all the one star is not for the food, it is about racist servers. I have been to this location several times and last night when we visited I had no idea that people were still doing the same thing. That man had no interest in serving me and my kids. I am still shocked and will never return again. I can get what I need at the other location. I still left him a tip after he coldly asked do you need change? No, I said you keep it got my kids, and walked out. I absolutely mean watch this location. The manager will do nothing about it. The servers were nice I will say that hell she should have gotten my tip. But when I say never I mean never.

BlueWater Seafood on FM1960. For seafood, the prices are reasonable.
Highly recommend the Boudin Fries appetizer.
Our waiter, Aaron, was top notch. He put up with our group of seven, plus a to-go order.
Thanks Aaron, BlueWater Seafood is blessed to have you as a waiter.
Great dinner for a Tuesday night.
Update, had the blackened tilapia last night. Was great, had just the right amount of blackened spice.

Nice place! Fast service food was good ????
Calamari was nice crispy
Chicken fried steak was good (actually beef)
Caesar salad was as expected
Mozzarella sticks and Crab stuffed jalapeño were the best of all
Monterrey chicken was yum
Blackened Catfish was nice but felt quantity was less than previous
Fried shrimps bad experience ! They had chlorine taste… thumbs down to the shrimps also waste of money on this

Best seafood in the area! Gumbo was more than enough. Seating was a bit crowded so I recommend going outside of peak hours or sitting/eating outside on the patio. Service was friendly and pleasant. Food was fast and hot. Definitely a family favorite restaurant for seafood.

I've been on a raw oyster kick for the past few days, and Bluewater didn't disappoint. I grabbed one dozen Gulf oyster and five boudin balls for lunch on 5/30/22. Makenzie took my order within a few moments of me sitting down. The food arrived relatively quickly and was enjoyable overall. If I'm off 1960 again, I'll surely stop by!

This is the second time we’ve dined here and both times have been excellent. Phoenix waited on us this time and made our night very enjoyable. He gave us amazing service, was knowledgeable about the menu, and had a great attitude. He also checked on us frequently. We were his last table of the night and we never felt rushed to leave. The crawfish, snow crab, and queso are on point. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience, as well as a laid back atmosphere! Also- ask for Phoenix!

So good! Great service! No flies despite it being seafood and on the patio! Very good food get a huge sized shrimp and crawfish! Absolutely worth the money! Got a little concerned when I walked in and it smelled like bayou water but that was because we walked through the back!

This is a quaint little joint for seafood. My wife and I stopped by while we were in the area. We decided to split their order of raw oysters and their Bluewater boil.
The oysters were served chilled with their horseradish and cocktail sauce., and noticeably fresh. We like to add a heavy amount of horseradish to the sauce, and it go to town. It was great.
Their Bluewater boil had a good amount of crawfish and shrim and a huge snow crab to dig into. For the boil style, we chose the Spicy Garlic boil. The spice was mild, but flavorful, with lots of garlic. It was very tastey.
All in all the experience was good. The place is rather small, so if planning on bringing a big party, it's best to call ahead to check seating, or be prepared to sit on the patio.

Good food and service. Our waiter was very attentive. Only downside was all the flies inside. Could not eat comfortably because we had to keep swatting the flies. Floor and window was also kind of dirty attracting more flies. Even another customer commented that there was a lot of flies inside. If we go back maybe we’ll sit in the outside patio to avoid flies swarming around us.
